Urban Games finally fixed the door animation bug :)
That means I have disabled the workaround and animations are a lot shorter now.
Have fun with the patch!

Since UG did not fix the open door bug as promised with the newest patch, I now implemented a workaround which fixes this problem but increases opening animation duration a little.
It's better than open doors though.

Ok firstly thanks for your consistency and the report/hint with Yung lenin.
I have contacted him so we have found out that the game also looks at the opening animation duration.
When I set up the opening animation to also 9 seconds, then it also waits 9 seconds for door closing. Interestingly, it seems that only one exact animation is important, not all opening ones but we can't see a system here.
The problem is that in this case nobody can enter the train for 9 seconds as long as the doors are opening. It's clearly a workaround with other disadvantages.
I'm in contact with UG again, I hope they answer.

For the Class 321 mod it's like 10 seconds

It happens with every vehicle that has animations longer than 3 seconds (they always start after 3 seconds no mather which animation) - with trams, trains and busses.
Always the same. Let's hope for the next patch.
UG has confirmed it's a bug.

No it's a bug. They always start after 3 seconds and when animation is too long they simply start to drive.
Belive me, it's a bug and it's only one of a thousand.
