This is a addon / mod that transform the game in Resident Evil and aim to become a total conversion

YOU HAVE TO DO TWO THINGS BEFORE YOU PLAY, (optional)
INSTALL THIRDPERSON AND PICK A COLLECTION

2---------COLLECTION DESCRIPTION-----------------MODELS & SOUNDS---------------------------------
To have the models, you need to pick a collection [found above, (below the subscribe button)]
They both feature Models, but one has Quiet Gunshots and the other one has Loud Gunshots
WARNING: Both the collections disables survivor voices and in-game musics/themes, if you don't want to disable them, just download the collection you want, and then in-game disable the addons:
RESIDENT EVIL VOICES: mutes all survivors and allows only the custom survivor voices from RE
L4D2FIX : NO WORLD THEMES, to have the in-game musics/themes
both will require a game restart

ALT = switch shoulder
SHIFT = run/walk toggle
(while walking, you make less noise, so unless you jump or shoot, zombies will charge only at a very close distance)

0)WILL I STILL BE ABLE TO PLAY NORMAL L4D2 SERVERS? AND CAN I STILL GO BACK TO FIRSTPERSON?
EXPLANATION: Yes, you can play all servers and with the "V" key you can go back in firstperson anytime.

1)SUBSCRIBED EVERYTHING BUT THIRDPERSON ISNT WORKING
EXPLANATION: You probably forgot to download the thirdperson addon from the description.
SOLUTION: Make sure you download the thirdperson addon and install it, also restart your game

2)DOUBLE CLICK THE ADDON "THIRDPERSON" BUT IT WONT INSTALL
EXPLANATION: You don't have the Valve Addon Installer
SOLUTION: to install VPK files you need to have at least once run the game and go to the addon list,it will install you the "vpk intaller". Now close your game, and try to install the addon again.

3)CANT INSTALL ADDON, ERROR: INSTALLED AND IN USE
EXPLANATION: BUG, probably old files left in the addon folder and causing troubles.
SOLUTION: install the addon manualy, drag it in your \SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons folder

4)HOW TO PLAY RESIDENT EVIL GAME MODES?
EXPLANATION: I know it can be confusing, but my attempt was to make it the easiest i could.
SOLUTION: Launch your game, you will now see l4d2 default gamemodes in one single icon, and then you will see the old icons,the old icons are new,if you click them you will be brought to a lobby searcher, what you need to do is click "CREATE LOBBY" or join one, if you are creating click on settings, local server,then invite a friend or start the game.

5)GUNSHOTS ARE WAY TOO SILENT:
EXPLANATION: This is because you installed the high volume version of the Resident Evil weapons sounds.
SOLUTION: download this https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=215995930
and make sure you remove the addon "Resident Evil Weapons sounds (low-mid)"

6)GUNSHOTS ARE WAY TOO LOUD:
EXPLANATION: This is because you installed the low volume version of the Resident Evil weapons sounds.
SOLUTION: download this https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=215993913
and make sure you remove the addon "Resident Evil Weapons sounds (mid-high)"

7)THE SHORTCUTS SOMETIME ARE BUGGED
EXPLANATION: This is a known bug, if thirdperson is activated during a shortcut, you wont be able to see it.
SOLUTION: Deactivate ThirdPerson by pressing the "V" button on your keyboard.

8)HOW TO INSTALL CUSTOM MAPS?

once installed, click on "additional campaigns" to see them.

9)CRASH
EXPLANATION: The "RESIDENT EVIL GAMEMODE" addon and the collection's related to it were tested and are 100% Crash-Free. So if you are crashing, its probably because of other addons.
SOLUTION: try uninstalling all your addons except the one's in the collection and this one.

10)NO SURVIVOR VOICES
EXPLANATION: One addon might be blocking them
SOLUTION: If you want to have the survivor voices, uninstall the addon "MUTE SURVIVORS : shut up survivors"

11)NO MUSICS/THEMES IN-GAME
EXPLANATION: One addon might be blocking them
SOLUTION: If you want to have the l4d2 themes, uninstall the addon "L4D2FIX : NO WORLD THEMES"

12)WHY ISNT THIRD PERSON IN THE WORKSHOP?
EXPLANATION: Third Person does not work in the workshop

13)RESTORE THE DEFAULT L4D2 THIRDPERSON
first go to SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons and delete third person addons, wipe config.cfg then launch your game, options>controls>default, restart your game.

5# KNOWN BUGS

known bugs: 8
- when in 3rd person mode sounds are a bit glitchy
- walking into walls makes you see through the world and lag a bit
- the aim is not very accurate when close to the target
- the flashlight sometime goes on the player's back
- no shotgun sounds while in thirdperson
- bad loop of a menu theme
- if thirdperson is activated during a shortcut, you wont be able to see the shortcut
- using the sniper in third person and aiming is malfunctioning
