Description
Purpose
A medium miner designed for tunneling horizontally or diagonally either manually or with the PAM autominer script. The Myxini is shorter and wider than the original Tunnel Miner, with an additional connector on the rear, allowing it to use Docking ports designed for Quarry Miners, such as on any of the Hercules carriers with the Q designation.

The cockpit is also more open and much further forward than the original ISL Tunnel miners, and features an additional script for displaying cargo and battery/hydrogen tank fill levels.

Features a stone ejection system. Available in all three thrust variants. For a smaller, cheaper version, try the MK 1.

The posts Keen are posting that say only "hi" and have a pic.

So for you luxury just means bigger?

I don't know what you mean about posts?

What do you think about the "hi" posts?
Quickshadow10m 15 May, 2020 @ 11:31am
Ok, fair enough, iDK, I just perfer the luxury
Spite  [author] 15 May, 2020 @ 9:10am
The only things you have listed there that the ISL miners do not have are parachutes and the ability to fly upsidedown. Both of which I would definitely consider luxuries, so agreed on those.

Other than that, all the ships in this collection do have PAM, remote controls (with multiple cameras (so not sure why they wouldn't be "Ez to do remote control"), multiple connectors for easy docking, and were specifically designed for easy printing. So I disagree with you on those.

For instance, My DerMakrat miner can fly upside down, Ez to do PAM, ez to do remote control, ez to dock, good powertime, good cargo, ez to build (although I have best printer I can build), good for long range, it has parachutes, it just has generally more features then the (kinda) barebones of you miners, I understand the philosophy, cheap, good for someone early off, and for someone who won't crash (I will lol)

Hmm, I'm not quite sure I follow, what do you mean by outfitting to suit your needs?

And yes, I agree our styles are very different, so use the ones you prefer. Although I'm also not sure what you mean by more luxurious? Does that just mean bigger?

Thank you for the response, I think you may be right, I perfer DerMakrat's miners personally, because they are easy to outfit to suit my needs, I would say they are more luxurious they yours, but I perfer that personally, idk.

As for collaborations, I would rather come up with my own creations (at least for now), as part of the fun of the game for me is learning as I go, and there is still a long list of designs sitting on the to do list.

I have seen DerMarkrat's stuff on the workshop before, I think we even both started publishing our miners last year! However we do have very different design styles, which is great to see, but would make joint projects lack cohesion, (unless one changes to suit the other, and where would be the fun in that?).

So, for now at least, I will be keeping to myself when it comes to the actual designing, but I'm always happy to get constructive feedback or see how others use/modify my designs.

Hi there quickshadow, I wouldn't say I'm starting with he miners now, more like updating and expanding the collection, so I wouldn't say I'm inexperienced at miners, but I am only planning on another 2 or 3 miner series before moving on.

What do you mean by logistics craft? Things like the Hercules Miner Carriers?

I do plan on making a lot more large grid ships, but I felt like some of the small grid ships needed updating/replacing before doing so.
