Description
Fingo Metro
The Fingo Metro is a Medium duty Van designed to be easy to drive and reliable. It has lots of useful features and components. It’s selling feature is the The Automatic Gearbox which functions so smoothly it's almost unnoticeable when it shifts gears. The Vehicle is produced by us, katstel and Powerstroke736.
Powerstroke made the engine, clutch system, and the chassis, while katstel made the Automatic Transmission, and all the logic and stuff, and the bodywork. To get the best idea of how to use the van, you should read the whole description as it is loaded with features and technology.

There's a New and improved version on the workshop, check it out here:

Styling
The exterior styling of the van is based on a mid-late 2000s style with curved edges yet a very basic design. It is based on a combination of the RAM promaster, the Older model Mercedes Sprinter, and the Ford transit. The defining characteristic is the short hood which was difficult to engineer due to the huge size of the engine.

Mechanical Info
The Van has a Medium engine, and runs off a custom 400 Litre Fuel tank. It has a top speed of about 120 km/h.

Features
-Automatic Transmission
-Cab Display
-Realistic Lights and systems
-More (Read below)

Automatic Transmission
The automatic transmission can switch between Drive, Reverse, and Park. To switch between any of the moeds the vehicle must be travelling under 3km/h. To start the car, the vehicle can only be in the park gear. If you start the car in Drive or reverse, it will essentially turn on the Accessory mode, and a chime will sound. To turn it on again just put the vehicle in park and the engine will start. The selected gear is shown on the Cab display whenever the vehicle is running. When in The Drive mode the vehicle will automatically switch between the 4 drive gears but most likely you will not go fast enough to need the 4th gear.

Cab Display
The display in the centre of the Dashboard has a few features worth noting. It can only be turned on if the Ignition is in the ON or ACC mode. When it first turns on the Fingo logo will appear for 3 seconds before fading to the regular display. The regular display shows the indicators on the Left for what gear the vehicle is in. By default all the letters will be white, if Park is on the P will be red, if Reverse is on, the R will be yellow, and if Drive is on, then the D will be Green. As well, if the vehicle is in reverse the backup camera will appear on the screen. Also, a warning symbol will flash on the screen and a buzzer will chime if either the driver is out of the seat, or any of the side doors are open while the engine is running.

Lights
The Driver has access to a wide range of different Lights to all be used while driving the Vehicle. There are the regular Headlights for use at night, Daytime running Lights that will illuminate while the engine is running, Taillights and Brake Lights, High Beams with flashers, Interior Lights, gauge lights, and turn signals and hazard lights. The turn signals and hazard Lights will override the DRLs. In addition, there are Reverse Lights for the reverse gear, along with a reverse beeper.

Drivability
Like the transmission, the suspension and steering setup is designed to be as easy to use as possible for the driver. The steering is light and easy to control, especially at high speeds when you are trying to drive in a straight line, and the suspension rolls into corners to help keep the van balanced.

Doors
Both models of the vehicle have 2 front doors, 2 rear sliding doors with windows and a rear Loading door. The rear loading door can open almost 180 degrees so it won’t get in the way of your loading process. Exercise caution when loading items, if they are not secured correctly they could possibly cause severe damage to the rear door hinge and cause it to fail (essentially blowing open the door mid-drive). Cargo should be stacked securely and away from the rear door if possible.

Automatic Systems
The van has a dynamic braking system that will brake less strongly at high speeds and more strongly at low speeds to allow you to slow down more smoothly. The brakes can be applied by pressing the [S] key in the driver’s seat, and will automatically disengage 1 second after releasing the button, or by pushing [W]. The Brake lights will activate whenever the normal brakes are pushed, but not when the parking brake is engaged.

Gauge Cluster
The van has a wide variety of information presented to the driver as well, it has a fairly standard gauge cluster with Fuel info, Battery percentage, Engine Temp., and RPM, and a Speedometer measured in km/h. Along the side of the Dashboard there is also a clock and information on the interior temperature in the vehicle.

Other Features
You can use the [up/down] inputs to move the mirrors forward and back, and Use hotkey 5 to control which mirror you are moving. Due to the small size of the mirrors they only work if you are on the highest graphics setting and have them adjusted to the optimal position. As well, the van has a realistic sounding horn that can be activated by holding hotkey 4. Another useful feature is the Trailer Hitch Located on the rear bumper. It can be turned on and off using the switch located next to the Driver’s door. To pop the hood, the button located just above it, can be pressed to toggle it open. The hood area only gives a limited view of the engine as it is recessed fairly low and far back below the dashboard.

Fuelling and Electric
On the side of the van behind the Driver’s door there are refilling and recharging ports for the fuel tanks and battery store. They can be connected and will charge or fill automatically, then released with the button located above when you are finished.

Specific Components to the Passenger Version
The passenger version is equipped with an elevated floor panel in the rear with a step up, and 8 passenger seats which come in handy if you need to regularly haul lots of people around. It also has a rear storage area in the back capable of holding smaller items. It can be converted with less seats, or smaller padded seats, to haul more passengers, or more cargo. The interior also is equipped with better lighting for the comfort of all passengers. It also has a window located in the rear of the van, rather than the solid panels on the cargo version. The suspension in the back is much smoother and a more comfortable ride than that of the cargo version. The passenger version also has taller side sliding doors to allow easier access for the rear passengers.

Fair use
Please do not re-upload this at all. If you want to make changes please ask us in the comments here and state what you are planning to convert it to (or what you are going to change). This was a lot of hard work to make, so we hope you are understanding and respect that. More Fingo Metro vans may be made in the future on a heavy duty chassis, or extended wheelbase chassis, etc.

Thank you, have a great day!
