Description
Well, here we go again. This is really just a pure laser-based puzzle. But despite lasers being my weakness, I actually think this turned out quite well.
I was already ready to publish this puzzle way earlier, however, right before wanting to publish it for the first time, I found out that one of the steps could be skipped. I wasn't satisfied with the solution path, so I kept working on it. Eventually the map didn't want to work anymore for some reason, so I had to build everything again from scratch, however, looking back at it, I'm quite happy that happened because this layout is much more clean and has more interesting moves added to it.

Notes:
- The little hallway, of which the entrance and exit are marked by the life-preserver symbol are only for anti-trapping and not part of the intended solution.
- The green fizzler only blocks physical objects, such as cubes.
- F6/F7 is strongly recommended; this puzzle is rather unforgiving when it comes to making the wrong move.
- NO ninja moves, such as cube tossing, bhopping, reportal and so on. They are not intended or required to solve the map. Playing by the rules would be appreciated :]

Thanks to klaus.sfc01 for playtesting and big thanks to Libbybapa for playtesting and giving me a LOT of advice which very much helped me improve the map.

Inspired by the 2nd room in Mikeastro's Reliquiae #2 .

Interesting map! My thought process were as follows: I first figured out the ending sequence had to be utilizing either a ghost cube(which got ruled out fairly quickly) or the piston for a time delay , then pieced out nearly every intermediate step except for lifting up the cube across the fence , which i guess was the blind spot for me! faved:steamthumbsup:

I have no idea why Steam decided to only now notify me of this comment, but thanks for playing! Sadly I lost my file for this map so I can't put out any further updates but thank you for the suggestion regardless :)

This one threw me in for a loop! Literally! I was near the end but kept repeating steps. I was trying to get back in the fizzler room. Turns out you don't! Speaking of the end, fantastic final move! Very natural timing and surprising use of the piston. Massive fan of the looping as well in this one, the fact that each time you loop its for a different yet subtle reason is quite impressive. Also like how each voxel on the 3 wide portal surface was actually used! Not very common but very welcome.

One more thing! I don't know if you would be interested, but current beemod has a feature that adjusts the piston's speed. I bring this up as potentially it could make the final move a little easier. I missed the falling cube a couple times. Not needed, and I understand this map is 4 years old now, but could help!

Sorry for the massive wall of text, but this was quite a fascinating map! Definite fav!

Thanks for playing bullfrog, everything was intended even if your solution included one overcomplication, though it doesn't really matter. Cool to see that you came back to give it another try.

I also tried this map a while ago, but failed to complete it and eventually, removed it from my queue. I came back to it because @Khan added it to their favourites a few days ago. I’m ashamed to say that I did read one particular spoiler and the penny dropped. I watched a walkthrough and I think it’s pretty much the same as I did, but just to check:: intended solution ? Anyway, excellent puzzle  added favourites and also now following.

Ahh I see,very nice work,big thumbs up!

To my surprise, the retractable platform and button in the entrance area seem to work only at the beginning, most of the steps are done on the opposite side, everything serves the cube, meanwhile, the entrance stuffs are more like setting up for rescue. I can understand the unforgiving moments that may trap you get further, but it also forces you to think more deeply!Really goood!:p2cube:

Haru, that is all intended. If you line yourself up with the catapult beforehand, the timing will be really lenient.
Thanks for coming back to give it another shot.

I came back after three years and finally figured out a solution(?):DSTghost:

I also remember it seemed to work out before you updated, but after you updated I failed, so I came back today and it seemed to be smoother this time, but I'm still not sure if I skipped some steps, I like your setup that you have to respawn the cube in different positions, which was really cool!

But I didn't know if the last step needed some timed-move ? I didn't make it every time so it confused me a bit and I didn't see any mention of timing in the description. So I doubt it is intended?

Looks like I never left a comment on this one after playing the first time. I enjoyed it a lot. It is interesting to me that Observatories, which I played first, took me ages to complete, but this one took me much less time - a testament to the similarities between the maps, maybe. I'm not sure how I felt on my original run, but I actually appreciated that the cube did not need to enter the fizzler-gated room at the end; it forced me to reconsider the necessary conditions and conclude how exactly I would need to move the cube to its penultimate position.
