Epic Eras (Extended Eras / Historic Game Speed for Vanilla/R&F/GS)

Description
An interpretation of the original "Extended Eras" mod or "Historic" game speed idea from Civ 5 and similar mods for Civ 6. The mod reduces the production costs of units, buildings, and districts to Standard game pace costs, while increasing Techs and Civics to the Marathon game pace. No other changes.

When creating a new game, select Epic Eras under the game speed option.

Works with Vanilla Civ VI. Fully compatible with Rise and Fall and Gathering Storm DLCs and other mods!

UPDATED to v3
- Removed dependencies on DLCs
- Added Epic Eras as a completely different Game Speed option, rather than overwriting the Epic pace.
- Era length changes are reflected in an increased Era Score requirement for Normal / Golden Ages.
- Slightly reduced costs of starting techs to help the player when just starting the game.

Do really enjoy this mod in regards to how it handles game speed in general, but as others have stated it seems nigh impossible to never not enter a dark age after when entering the classical era. This may be actually thematically intended but if so I guess I feel it would make more sense for this to be done between classical to post classical instead to represent european dark ages

you can't really blame the mod for that the game was likely updated which broke the mod happens to mods all the time sadly

Crashes at turn 2. Just doesn't play nice anymore with the base game or other mods, unsure which.

Can you tell me if it's still working?
It's the kind of mod that should already be a game mode.

Not sure what happened to this mod, but it now crashes the game at turn 2. It never did that before.

There's an issue with this mod. Only the first city has a normal production rate, but the other cities I build after that are extremely slow. A builder takes 8 turns to be trained in my capital, but for other cities it takes 44 turns.

Still, I love the idea of this mod. This is how the slower eras should work (except for that issue I found).

I'll have to second the era numbers mentioned below. It seems almost impossible to avoid dark ages.

Thanks for making this mod!
I wondered if you know of or have the time to make one but for online speed? I know its a lot of ask!

The problem we are having is that we want to use online speed but find that it makes war useless as units are out of date by the time they arrive for war. Ideally we would like the techs and civics to be quick speed but keep production etc.. at online speed.

What are peoples thoughts on that?

The only game speed mod that works right now that I found. My only problem is that 70 points for a golden age in dramatic mode in the ancient era is an overkill. I only managed to reach 32 before the end of the era and now the whole known world is in dark ages!
