Description
What is This?
A mixture of the Reaper and Ranger class

Why Another Class mod?
It started as a personal project but I wanted to make a stealthy soldier that took advantage of Shadow with some of the Reaper special skills.

Also wanted to create classes that use more of the original game skills/weapons with the exception of the Extended Perk Pack

Some Abilities and Loadout

Primary: Vektor Rifle
Secondary: Sword
CAN also use assault rifles but won't be as proficient in stealth.

Needle, Target Definition, Banish, Blood Trial and more from Reaper class.
Shadowstep, Implacable, Untouchable, Bladestorm and more from Ranger class.
Some Extended Perks include - Thousands to Go, Preservation, and Survior.

Other Notes

Reaper Abilities will still state "Reaper" in description. Skills will still apply and work with Shadowstalker class. Will look into changing this later.

The Shadowstalker actually builds up dodge when ranking up. Has some minor Hack knowledge for when your Specialist is down, nothing extraordinary though. Also builds up more Will over time to a max of 15 total at Brigadier level. 1 Less HP Overall considering it focuses more on dodge.


Future Plans

Overall Goal is to have 6 distinct classes while eliminating the need for any of the faction hero classes. More updates to come.

Update screenshots, new icon for class now.

::Note:: Need [WOTC] New Promotion Screen by Default and [WOTC] Extended Perk Pack

SUGGESTED MODS: (Not required)
Disable Any Class Wotc - Only really needed if you want to disable any original classes while using this mod.
[WOTC] Reaper Reworked - Udaya has done some great work on revising the Reaper abilities, they carry over to this class when this mod is in use.

Oh for sure, still around, I still do a few personal mods for one off games. Every once in a while though I get that Xcom itch which makes it fun ha ha, just waiting for that to happen again that's when I'll likely update all the classes and fix the Skirmisher animations on the Killer class.

@IconOfEvil appreciate the support! I really do want to get back into this eventually, just after the harddrive crash and lining everything back up with proper steam id's for the workshop and setting up the tools is an adventure in it's own right at times.

As for the invisibility, it's even been a while since I've played Xcom, but I want to say it was not breaking invisibility even on the enemy turns at times when you should be revealed by being run up on. But it wasn't an always happening thing, just hard to pinpoint.

But yeah I think I just used Brigadier rank at the time since everything seemed to be going that direction. There's a lot of adjustments I'd like to make, but I just have to get back into the flow of things.

@Gava I thought the being invisible on your first strike was a feature of the class, not a bug. I mean it works pretty perfectly, I thought it was THE feature. It's only your actual target that doesn't see you first - if he's surrounded by friends, the Shadowstalker will get found, so it's not like it's unbalanced. I thought the point was to eliminate stragglers, etc.

If you do ever get back to modding and updating these classes, I do hope you keep this aspect, since sometimes it doesn't work, mostly does.

Also, a suggestion, why using Brigadier level rank? It throws off non-LWOTC games whose classes goto Colonel as usual. Why not just put them at Col for non-LWOTC versions and fill up the XCOM tree, or better yet make another tree?

Any idea why i can't select shadow strike? Its the only ability greyed out on all my Shadows.

@Jepakazol That's good to hear! Actually this is probably the most complete of the 6, if any changes they'd be minor or to fix some bugs, like I believe there was one where you're basically invisible even adjacent to enemies.

As for saving changes if you want to keep it the way it is now just copy XComClassData.ini from your workshop folder for mods. And just overwrite the updated one with that file when it's updated.

@TROCH22 Like Jepakazol said, you may need the LW extended perks for the Brigadier promotions. I can't remember exactly as it's been a couple of years (Might be coming back soon to revise them all though) but it should work with or without it you just may not see those ranks without it.
