Description
On june 20th 2120, after a long and thorough design and assembly time in the Crimson Korp shipyards, the very first Crimson Shard Ausf. K1 prototype submarine was completed and subsequently launched in Europa's deep and dark water. Yet untested by the darkness and sea monsters, it stands ready to meet them face to face and claws to claws.

Designed by the Chief Mechanic Kael (Kaleyn) Kyrunaï, who is known to carry as much guns as the entire security crew, the Crimson Shard is made to withstand extreme aggresion from both the wildlife and local geological hazards of Jupiter's moon and also, thrive in it.

With it's ability to fight back tooth and nail to victory, the line between predator and prey is shattered in the Europa battlegrounds.

There is no civilian or unarmed crew on the Crimson Shard. As soon as you step in it, you become something else.

Too heavily armed and equipped to pass any kind of civilian naval regulations treaty (and we don't even talk about inspections), the Crimson Shard is made for missions were expected casuality rates are skyhigh, the ennemies relentless and the administration, absent.

Fielding it in safe water is only a waste of it's potential as it naturaly steers toward the most dangerous and deadly campaign available on Europa.


Features ! :D (It's SpaceX time!)

GUNS :
- 2 Coilguns Autocannons mounted coaxialy to 2 Railguns (With a trigger safety for the Railguns)
- Centralized 4 Belted Magazine Coilgun Loader (which makes a lot of black smoke, IRL tank crew gonna love it ^^)(For maximum fun, the Coilguns Autocannons Ammo Pool is shared with all Coilguns !)(Love-Hate relationship xD)
- 2 Frontal Coilguns Autocannons controlled at the same time (it's captain time !)(Make them feel like Swiss cheese !!)
- Rear and Front Discharge Coils that draw an INSANE amount of POWAR for what they actually do ! (It help in justifying the electrical bill tough...)

REACTOR :
- A SILENT RUNNING System which can keep every vital system online for a limited time while the Reactor is SHUTDOWN. (Extra sneaky submarine) Oh ! it also feature a toggable Oxygen Generator power supply because you'll probably want to breath too, who knows...)
- An Emergency Fire/Water System for the Reactor Room which will automaticaly put out fire and pump water. (My very first Electrical contraption which took me 2 days to design xD)(It... may ? also lock you inside in the hopes of drowning you with salt water ^^)(Is even the water on Europa salty ? Aaaaah existential questions!!)

LIGHT :
- All Exterior Lights are RED. (The less visible light spectrum from afar in night condition, so you're more sneaky from the sea monsters (no idea if it influence anything beside the Coolness factor))
- All Interior Lights are Sun like Orange. (for a confortable sun rise ambiance inside the submarine, and also because I just like Orange and wanted to be different from other subs)

DOORS :
- 2 Internal Airlock to gracefully faceplant yourself on them ! (Won't auto open, they are ''painted'' yellow-orange)
- Auto Openning doors that will joyfully allow all human to run around the ship without the need to develope finger inflammation on button panels smashing. (May auto-open to Husks because auto doors love horror stories)(Will not auto open in case of Breach'n'Water Song)

SPECIAL :
- A Prototype Proximity Alert System powered by Flashing lightsTM in the Coilguns Loading Room. (If you can see trough the smoke that it...)(It was really interesting to design something like this :D !)
- Custom made Decals and decoration on many place of the submarine to justify the shattering price of this sub thanks to the allpowerfull ''Made by hand'' label.

MISC:
- A Small hull and Cramped space that will make you feel like in a space station (or a tank) where every inch of space is used and important.
- No Wifi Component because we don't want you to get Cancer.
- Probably Enough installed wiring to do smth like the Little Thumbling between stations if you ever fear to be lost in the dark...
- 1 unsatisfactory and bland Crewbunk with only one Guitar ! (And no Ethanol)
- Enough weapons to play the Russian Roulette all night !

PS :

!! The Crimson Shard is a submarine made exclusively of vanilla parts, without any editing, so they respect the game balance and gameflow. There is only 5 exeption to this : !!
(With this in mind, the Crimson Shard is a really good Submarine but it will require a good amount of maintenance to get the best of it)

- The Coilguns Autocannons have 2x the vanilla's fire rate but use 2x much Power and have a slower turn rate to compensate.
- The AUXILIARY BATTERY (2x the sprit size near the reactor) have 3x the Output, 3x the Charge Capacity and 2x the
Charge rate compared to a vanilla battery and 0.08 Deterioration rate compared to the vanilla 0.12 value.
To compensate, it can only begin to be fixed at 60% instead of 80% health and has a repair time of 60-100 seconds instead of 5-25 seconds. (High Skill - Low Skill)
- The Oxygen Generator has been downgraded from 1000kw -> 400 air output TO 500kw -> 200 air output.
- The Big Engine has a vanilla 4000 Propulsion force and 4000kw Power usage in the editor.
Seeing the balance of others vanilla subs the Crimson Shard has 1940 Propulsion force for 4000kw power usage. (It appears that hull design has an impact on maximum achievable speed beside the Engine propulsion power)
- There is 3 Relays who have 2 to 3 times the vanilla output of normal relays. (They have 2-3 times their size too)
