Scary Stories For Walter

Description
This mod was made by Eusong.

This mod adds in more stories for Walter to tell at a campfire. These stories are taken from various sources on the internet, and credit is listed in the mod configuration options, where you can select which stories will be used. There are also links to the sources I got them from in a discussion on the mod page. You can choose to replace any other stories Walter can tell so only ones from this mod will be used.
Some of these stories are very long, and it's unlikely you'll make them to the end without console commands and/or afking. There is a bad word filter you can enable, but it doesn't catch everything, so stories with strong language are disabled by default. Many of these stories will not be lore friendly, obviously.
If you find any issues, please give as much information as possible when reporting. I don't have time to babysit every mod I upload so if it doesn't crash when joining a world, I'll assume it works fine.

Yes, you can suggest stories to be added. No, there's no guarantee I'll add them.

Thank you, Hornet, for explicitly giving me permission to use your string separation code so I don't have to marry you.
Thank you, Fidooop, for helping me when I was stupid and contributing way more code than you should've. This is why I married you.

Do you still take suggestions? If so, could you add the longest joke in the world? You can find it here: https://longestjokeintheworld.com/

Are there any creepypastas in this mod?

You should make stories based on other mods!

Example: It could have a story that talks about a slime girl who wanders The Constant, which is based on the Jelliet mod. Maybe you could make a story about a flower that was brought to life, based on Whimsy, which is another mod.

It would be a really cool addition, in my opinion. You don't have to make it, though. I myself am not a mod maker, but I understand the struggle that is part of the process of making a mod. I will see if I can play this mod with friends either way, it looks fun, and I'm tired of talking about the stupid freaking bog monster whenever I tell a story as Walter.

about the game " taking place in the 1920s" I'm pretty sure time in the constant is wibbly wobbaly timey wimey and characters like Walani and woodlegs are actually from different points in time but hey if you want " 100% lore friendly mods" then you do you. but thanks to Eusong for making a fun mode :)

Apology accepted lmao sorry if I came off as harsh; it gets tedious when nobody reads the description. :steamsalty:

"These stories are taken from various sources on the internet" and "Some of these stories are very long, and it's unlikely you'll make them to the end without console commands and/or afking" and also "Many of these stories will not be lore friendly, obviously."

I highly recommend you read the description of the mod before complaining about things explicitly addressed in the description. :DSTpoop:

One of his stories references a study done in the 1950's, when this game takes place before the 1920's.

A lot of the stories kinda just ramble on too.
