DOOM Eternal - TFA Base Heavy Cannon (Sound and lua Script Mod)

Description
Another sound and script mod! This time, it's the TFA Base Heavy Cannon from Doom Eternal.

The original addon was very good and enjoyable - I definitely couldn't have made something like it. However, the firing sound, descriptions, and functionality weren't exactly what I would have hoped for. I sought to remedy those issues with this addon, featuring a new firing sound and script adjustments!

The weapon sound files from Doom Eternal aren't yet available to my knowledge - I had to take the sound from a recording of the game itself (thankfully without any background noise).

Furthermore, I tried to tune it so that it would still be usable as a TFA weapon - it might be a little powerful, but definitely still on par with other weapons... excluding the weapon mods, of course. Specifically the Micro Missiles. Those are pretty dang strong.

This weapon is intended for use against NPCs, specifically the Doom 2016 SNPCs. As such, this probably isn't the most balanced weapon against players.

Also included is a more realistic take on the weapon called the Heavy Assault Cannon, based on the original addon's version of the Heavy Cannon. It's primarily for NPCs, but it's totally usable by players!

Me - Making the modifications and uploading them as an addon (duh).

Ventrici - Making the original addon. Go subscribe to that! My addon only works if you have it, anyway. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2156864372

id Software - The original Doom Eternal Heavy Cannon, including its sound and the stats that inspired this addon.

NOTE: If the addon doesn't work, try subscribing to this one after getting the main addon, or vice versa. If that doesn't work, do the following:

1) Download the zip file from one of these Google Drive links.

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ZxvmWKz6-K0U72Ft8zZcJnDWRbh5V-x8?usp=sharing (Updated Version)

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1IonSETWbEBC_Xt2CE-YUR-0UMfNI-4da?usp=sharing (Old Version)

2) Manually extract it into your Gmod Addons folder. It should be the following:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\addons

3) Restart the game if you did this while in-game, and you should be good to go!

Hey, I've recently updated this addon. I'd recommend replacing the old files with the new ones! The procedure to do so should be exactly the same. You're totally welcome to keep the old version though!

Are the contents inside a single folder? It should look like this once you're done:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\addons\TFA-Heavy-Cannon-DOOM-ETERNAL

You can use one of the programs I mentioned in my last comment. They should have a button to extract a zip folder. You can extract it from there to your addons folder through the file path I specified.

Sorry if that isn't a good explanation. There's plenty of YouTube videos on how to extract stuff. Hope this helps!
