Description

I know I said I was leaving forever, but.. Shhhhh, I don't have an addiction to Kenshi modding, I can quit when I want..

So anyways, I finally made an actual upgrade that works to my FCS, and here is one of the results of my minor upgrades to it.

The No Despawning Bags mod. Don't you hate it when you've gotta run away from that army of beak things and your backpack weighs 875lb because you never took out all the stones?

Well worry no more! This makes all vanilla backpacks persistent! Like magic, golly gee whillickers Batman!
Also the backpacks keep all the contents as well. I don't know why exactly they didn't have persistent tags on non food items, but they didn't and so I just added them in.

By the way, this will be integrated into Dawn of Sigmar by default for anyone who runs it too. So don't worry about having this installed as well when V19 drops.

I'm making a series of "No Despawning",
So If you want to support my stupid piece of crap projects, here is links to my elemental plane of money.

And with that, thanks again my delicious assorted Kenshi Fruits. Mwah, Crunch, Mwaah.

Drop some links to bag mods you'd suggest and I'll see about adding them in.

Ever lose a bunch of AI cores due to accidentally leaving the bag outside a new lab in order to change backpacks and sneak, and despite returning to the site, it's gone?

Thanks for this. I use mostly modded bags have you added any yet? I can scrounge through my list and figure out all the mods that add em if you really don't mind adding em. I think most my characters just have the "adventurers bag" and the rest of the modded bags come from somewhere inside genesis lol

I usually just toss them in their inventory when combat comes around but sometimes we are way loaded up on loot and we gotta drop em and scrap... does not always go well so this mod is fantastic.

Ps. sounds like you gotta helluva mind for modding - cool ideas!

as all ways spot on with the true needs and crisp detail of kenshi

Seriously though, if anyone wants some other mods bags added to the persistence list just let me know and I can toss their IDs in.

That's legit what happened to me at least three times in the past.
I am glad of all my insane *!SCIENCE!* experiments, this one worked.
Things I tried yesterday:
Apply building data to items and armours: Fail
Apply weather effects to weapons/items: Fail
Give player races aging/scaling: Fail
Give player races building data: Fail
and a few other things which I cannot recall off the top of my head. Some things work some things don't.

yeah.... I was sure I didn't need this mod until the bags containing robbed weapons, armors and books actually despawned when I tried to flee from the laws. I obviously can't afford that happening again LOL. Thank you, mate and welcome back :D

Also of all my FCS experimentations yesterday, adding building data to armour/items to try to make mobile houses, animal and scale data to humanoids, weather data to weapons/armours, etc etc, this was the only thing that worked. Which is pretty nice.
