Overview
V1.1

Automatically fixes drug policies for new drug additions after the initial start values. Also sorts drug policies into drug name order.

Mod details

No more fiddling around having to update drug policies when you add new drugs or remove them from your game part way through a save game. This mod will do it "automagically" for you.

No more struggling to find the drug you want on a policy: they will now be sorted into alphabetical order.

Mod notes

Safe to add and remove at your discretion.

Compatibility

It adds to policies akin the vanilla set-up process, so will be compatible with all mods that make use of policy details and follow the vanilla convention when creating them. This mod really only sorts out the Drug Policy Entries (listings of the drugs) for each policy.

Should be Multiplayer compatible.

Cautious question
I know your prowess is restoring mods
but is it possible to make VE Aperitif not allowed by default?

...
come to think of it
I should just Cherry Picker it out of existence

Thanks for keeping the modding scene alive Mlie!

@TurtleShroom Tested this by saving a game, adding a mod with a new drug and is this mod. The new drug showed up in the existing policies with no issues. Not sure what the issue could be in your save.

EDIT: I need to make a clarification. I can't load a saved game AT ALL and get that error when I try, so I cannot actually go into the game and change the Drug Policy.

This Mod doesn't do anything for me. I added a new drug to my saved game midway and got the error this was supposed to fix:
Exception from asynchronous event: System.ArgumentException: Value does not fall within the expected range.

.

All it does on my end is alphabetize things.

What am I doing wrong?

@lol It does in my tests at least.

Nor does it sort drug policies, it seems: https://gist.github.com/d83a7f0761a5e55e120326b30677768d

Just a heads up it looks like in 1.4 existing drug policies are updated so you don't have to remake them. The only feature this mod really adds now is sorting drugs by letter order.

Okay for some reason when I have a policy selected I cannot delete anything but if i open the menu it has nothing selected and it then lets me delete policies. Super weird, sorry for spamming your mod page since it didnt really have anything to do with your mod :D
