Description
This mod adds 2 new difficulty events for dark elves and tomb kings each. If you are playing with any of the dark elven or TK faction, your starting enemy faction will start an additional very powerful army. ALSO, this mod has 2 unique events that will enhance difficulty for arkhan and Malekith. If you are playing as Arkhan, at turn 101 many TK armies will spawn and attack your starting locations. NO MATTER WHO YOU PLAY WITH, at turn 82, many Norscan stacks under the faction Mung will spawn near the end of the map and attack Dark elf factions near them.

It is a .lua scripted mod should be compatible with everything. Doesn't change any tables, just adds some. I highly recommend using shaky_rivers amazing mods. I'm using a lot of them myself too.

Have to be honest, played a campaign without all your events on and it was a lot easier XD - and not in a good way, on the other hand - I do somewhat cheese these events once I know they're coming, cause they often caught me unprepared so I had to reload saves to move armies around.

Still, I do appreciate how it spices up things within your borders, although they often left me feeling helpless against stack spams I never saw coming. But all things considered I felt the game to be more interesting with than without them, I only struggle with how they catch me off guard :)

well it is difficulty adjust really. I don't want to destroy anyones game cuz it is hard as is. I mean I love difficulty myself, but a lot of people just doesn't so...

@Flamboyant Schemer61, instead of making some events spawn later, would it also not be challenging/fun to have them spawn earlier in the campaign, but just not (all) full on doomstacks?

If the launch date of events and invasions gets updated in the near future though, i do hope it'll be save compatible for current adventures.

the thing is, there are casual players who will have problems with surviving dark elves with many difficulty mods (like my event compilation). I love difficulty, I'm using all my difficulty event mods with increased difficulty I specifically made for myself so my campaigns are nightmares but many people doesn't want to or simply can't play with that kind of a difficulty so I'm generally trying to tune down my difficulty mods. I may go for 140ish dunno about that yet.

I also think events around turn 160 are a bit too late. If its vortex, the race may be over by turn 160. For ME, it kind of depends when Chaos comes. A lot of people end after Archaon is defeated, so if Archaon comes around turn 130, the player might never see the Hung invasion. I'd prefer turn 120 or sooner for the Hung invasion.

Im 50/50 on this because my campaigns are weird sometimes Dark Elfs roll Naggarond but other times Anar/Tyrion roll Dark Elfs. I guess i'll just try this out, I love your event mods.

Alrighty, sounds good! You're one of the top modders i know which beefs up the experience so i believe ya. It's just rare i combine both SFO and your mods due to some nice stand alone mods not being compatible.

But with all my mods dark elves are too hard lol you shouldn't be able to conquer everything in 100 turns tho I'm using sfo and tons of other mods thats maybe just cuz of that
