Skaar Faction

Description
(CV CPU Tier 1, Class 1, Unlock Level 10, Version 1.x)

Primary roles: Starter CV, Inexpensive, Hangar, Landing pad, Storage, Warp, Farm

Build for XCaliber's August Tier 1 CV challenge.

The Skaar is a new faction of human space pirates, raiders, mercenaries, and scrappers. This is the 8th build with more to come in the future. The Bago-T1 is a makeshift CV built with scrap by an ambitious Skaar builder. It got it's name as local clan members seeing the construction started jokingly mocked it calling it a winnebago and later Bago for short. The CV pushs the limits for CPU tier 1 offering an 18 grow plot farm, 200K storage, hangar which is large enough to move a Skaar-Ripper-T4 tank and a decent sized SV all at once. It also has a warp drive, large constructor, med bay plus all additional specialized equipment, 3 turrets, o2 and station, armor locker, and even a bathroom and shower.

Offense and Defense

The hull is built with steel and interior is carbon substrate. It has 1 ammo box with 14K storage. The ship is not meant for combat besides defending against small attacks like drones.

Features Summary:

1. CV CPU Tier 1, Size Class 1, Player unlock level 10
2. Steel Hull, 3 turrets, 14K ammo storage
3. 200K cargo storage, large constructor, warp drive, wifi, detector
4. Armor locker, full med bay with all extra specialized equipment
5. O2 and station, hangar and landing pad
6. 2 passenger seats, toilet and shower, side cockpit access
7. 18 grow plot farm with light grow light switch, spotlights
8. 2 Fridges, 2 food processors
9. Hangar with 5x9 door, landing pad. (Hangar can fit the Skaar-Ripper-T4 or similar sized HV/SV's)

I hope you enjoy!

Notes: I tried to push this is far as I could for a Tier 1 CV. The CPU use is 199,999 of 200,000 allowed. The ship is 100% CPU compliant however in BP screen shot it shows as 99% CPU compliant which is incorrect. This ship is mainly for early game exploration and warping but also able to carry HV's and SV's providing a mobile base with a farm, crafting, and utility.

if you were to put a basic extender and add a shield generator where would you put it, Im thinking abou that and adding more fuel.

Still a nice starter. I use in reforge and upgrade as I go until I have main CV. Is also good for doing daily task like autominer collection, POI looting, HV Tank transport and hauling things around. Not too big and easy to land in smaller places.

Thank you all! @Roy, Well, the fuel takes CPU and the grow plots don't. I think this one was very tight on CPU. If I was growing on the CV, I would rather be able to grow more at once and harvest less often too. But, good info. Thanks again all!

Very nice starter. Using it now. The only thing is I think it has more growing plots than needed. Only need 10 max. Wouldn't it be better to have less plots and add more fuel capacity?

Hey Randall Im the one who was Trying to pass off the Reforged compatible version of the Bago. I was actually able to make the rear thrust a little better and did some manipulation of the generators and just some very minor block modifications, Im more than happy to pass it off to you to inspect and repost.

SpiritofTrini :) I am playing single Player, making easy to say:
"T1 starting point for my ever changing CV thru Research and then Upgrades"

Understood: Multi Player builds needs to be Fluid, for so many reasons :)

true. that sounds like ah plan. I wasn't gonna go for the mid Skaar CV.. was either gonna go for the Kydex or just wait for Cerb. since playing with 2 buds, we trying to mix up who has what. LOLOLOL... I already told them, they can't use anything Skaar. so i'm secured :)

we just at the point where we need ... yup. the dreaded Neo and Zac, and Eres... I ventured into space on me own without support.

won't do that again :p thanks again for advice. will give it a go.

SpiritofTrini try upgrading with your Multi-tool/and or adding some outer blocks with Titanium. As far as a SKAAR T1 CV goes for upgrade potential: Bago and Koresedge was a great starting point for my ever changing CV thru Research and then Upgrades

T2 Core upgrade gives much room for upgrading (Engines,Shields ;) or as you say:
Go into the Factory for a T2 and then T3 Ship thru just your level, bypassing TECH Tree:)
