Description
Adds Kongo to the base game.

The Kingdom of Kongo was an African kingdom located in west central Africa in what is now northern Angola, Cabinda, the Republic of the Congo, and the western portion of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. At its greatest extent, it reached from the Atlantic Ocean in the west to the Kwango River in the east, and from the Congo River in the north to the Kwanza River in the south. The kingdom consisted of several core provinces ruled by the Manikongo, but its sphere of influence extended to neighboring kingdoms, such as Ngoyo, Kakongo, Ndongo and Matamba. During the Colonial Era, Kongo became widely known through its interaction and conflict with the Portuguese.

Note:
- This civilization requires the Brave New World expansion.
- Updates to the Mod will most likely break save games. Please do not update until you are ready to begin a new game.
- The City-State of M'banza-Kongo is replaced with Kabongo.

@우성 WooSung♥

Yeah, unfortunately, dropbox deleted all my accounts/files. I'd suggest using a steam workshop downloader website to rip it off the steam page if you need a manual download.

It has served me well to stay clear of Civ mods that have brief mentions of bugs in the Comments sections. They will likely break your game (learned the hard way). But it's only fair to turn it around: I've played with this mod forever and with all kinds of set-ups (Community Balance Patch, etc). Never had a problem. Recommend.

It's a common bug with the Steam workshop. Usually, unsubscribing before you start the game and then resubscribing inside the game's mod menu and waiting a minute or so will get the workshop to click and download the mod. Otherwise, you can manually download/install the mod from the direct download link at the bottom of the description. Simply, place that file in your mods folder ~/documents/my games/civ v/mods.

I subscribed but for some reason it doesn't show up in the game or even mods menu. Anyone know what to do about that?

A much better choice in leader for Kongo than what Firaxis is intending. Interesting since they are putting in so many women. It's odd, Pericles and Gandhi never really ruled their nations, so was this leader never considered?
