@우성 WooSung♥

Yeah, unfortunately, dropbox deleted all my accounts/files. I'd suggest using a steam workshop downloader website to rip it off the steam page if you need a manual download.

It has served me well to stay clear of Civ mods that have brief mentions of bugs in the Comments sections. They will likely break your game (learned the hard way). But it's only fair to turn it around: I've played with this mod forever and with all kinds of set-ups (Community Balance Patch, etc). Never had a problem. Recommend.

I'm going to have a lot of fun while playing against this nation as Belgium

It's a common bug with the Steam workshop. Usually, unsubscribing before you start the game and then resubscribing inside the game's mod menu and waiting a minute or so will get the workshop to click and download the mod. Otherwise, you can manually download/install the mod from the direct download link at the bottom of the description. Simply, place that file in your mods folder ~/documents/my games/civ v/mods.
SilverFayne 10 Sep, 2016 @ 5:31am
I subscribed but for some reason it doesn't show up in the game or even mods menu. Anyone know what to do about that?

A much better choice in leader for Kongo than what Firaxis is intending. Interesting since they are putting in so many women. It's odd, Pericles and Gandhi never really ruled their nations, so was this leader never considered?

The mod is only programmed with support up to YnAEMP v.23 (which includes Civilizations_AfricaLargeStartPosition) but doesn't included any support for the recent maps JFD added for v.24.

this isnt working on ynaemp africa and southern europe map

v.48

- Fixed a rare bug where non Kongo AI would get free Raffia if AI Kongo was eliminated before the Medieval era.

Should still work with the previous version saves.
Tomatekh  [author] 6 Jun, 2016 @ 5:56am
Yes, all of my new civ mods work with YnAEMP.
The Honorable Grant Lemasters 5 Jun, 2016 @ 10:22pm
Does this work with the YnAEMP mods?

Hey, sorry for not replying sooner (Steam has stopped notifying me when someone comments on my mods for some reason). I'll send you a friend request when I get home so you can message me if you still want.
M."M".C. 7 Apr, 2016 @ 10:01am
Hello, I intend to do some translation work on the mods I use and love, since I'm french and it seems to be pretty easy to do. Are you interested if I do it on your mods? (god I hate that steam don't make it possible to private messaging someone, I would have preferred to talk to you about it directly than to wait for you to see this message but hey, it is as it is).
This concern not only this mod, but I would prefer to make some restrictions. Anyway if you're interested answer to me here, or send me a friend request (as I just accept everyone, no care)

v45

-minor bug fix, should still be compatible with the last version's saves
Tomatekh  [author] 2 Mar, 2016 @ 7:29am
The Kongo mint doesn't require resources, just that you settle next to jungle (which the civ has a start preference for). Even then, the building is around the medieval era, which is late enough that even if you don't start next to jungle you can prioritize settling near one. At least a third of the official civs have some sort of terrain or resource dependent bonus so I don’t really see it as an issue either way.
Alexanderjac 28 Feb, 2016 @ 1:14pm
I haven't actually played with this civ, but I feel like it would run into the same problem the Iroquois have. What if you don't spawn next to a resource that can use a mint? Wouldn't this civ be kinda underpowered in that situation?

Anon_2 14 Jul, 2015 @ 8:29pm
BTW - forgot to say: BNW, Prince level, Standard Map, standard # of AI civs and city states, archipelago map
Anon_2 14 Jul, 2015 @ 8:27pm
Hi - I enjoy your mods. This one feels slightly underpowered. In particular, the Events and Decisions factor where you have to have a least 3 cities with raffia factories is extremely difficult to achieve without significantly lengthening the game. If I ignore the E&D benefits specific to this civ, I can still win in a reasonable amount of time - but it's a win without any of the special benefits. Examples:
Ignoring the E&D factors: Diplomatic victory in 241 turns, Cultural victory in 261 turns.
Making the 3 raffia factories: Cultural victory in 286 turns

thanks man
Tomatekh  [author] 18 Oct, 2014 @ 11:14am
As long as you have the BNW expansion it will work regardless of if you are also (or not also) using G&K. However, it will not work with G&K by itself.
Glue Sniffer 8 Oct, 2014 @ 6:09pm
does this work with gods and kings alongside brave new world?
Tomatekh  [author] 2 Oct, 2014 @ 7:04am
Update to fix an issue with the abilities not always working for the AI. If you need the previous version (30) for a save, a link is at the bottom of the description.
Tomatekh  [author] 14 Sep, 2014 @ 2:14pm
Update:
- Now supports the Map Labels and Piety & Prestige mods
- Missing table errors should no long appear in the database log
- Switched the music around a bit

If you need the previous version (29) to continue a saved game a link is at the bottom of the description.

True, true. I guess it would be too OP
Tomatekh  [author] 18 Aug, 2014 @ 12:02pm
@Ohioe

I'm happy with it as a UB. For balance reasons, I also wouldn't want to increase the number of free luxuries past 1 per city (so I would be forced to change the bonus if it was an improvment).

@David12596

I'm not sure where the problem lies. In my own tests (of just Kongo and the Ethnic Units mods) the game starts with the warrior as normal. It could be a conflict with one of the other mods you are using. Since I can't replicate the problem on my end, it's hard for me to fix, and I need to wait and see if other people are also experiencing this to get more information before trying to fix it.
Juni 16 Aug, 2014 @ 12:27pm
The raffia mill should be an improvment
UnderKingDuck 7 Aug, 2014 @ 2:29pm
When I use the Ethnics unit mods with any of the custom civs you have made, tje game is not giving me a warrior at the start of the game. This does not happen when I play with the Ethnic Units mod with anything else though. Kinda strange.
Tomatekh  [author] 25 Jul, 2014 @ 3:23pm
Added support for the Ethnics Units mod as well as ensured compatibility across my own mods and a few mods that will be released in the near future. Unless someone finds more bugs in the mod, this should be the last update for a while.

The update will break saves using the old version, so do not update until you are ready to start a new game with the civ. If you need the previous version to continue a save, the download link is located at the bottom of the description.
Tomatekh  [author] 13 Jul, 2014 @ 7:20am
General maintenance update with stuff that won't impact gameplay. Also changed the music and removed the penalty vs mounted that the pombo had (now has the same bonus as standard pikes).

The z of Nzinga would actually be a soft j sound, so something like "nn ' jinga"
