Description
Updates to 1.4 will be postponed until further notice. If someone wants to update to 1.4 you are welcome to do so. Source code is available on github. Link in description.

Description

Adds an operation to remove death acidifiers from pawns. It's a fairly difficult operation that requires 10 medicine skill.

Death acidifiers don't do much on recruited pawns except make you really worried about all the gear you gave them disappearing if they die.

If you have the time to capture and operate on someone who has one, you also have the time to just strip them of their items.

The inability to remove them basically doesn't impact game balance, but does make pawn management a lot more finicky.

Hence, this mod.

This should also fix the duplicate bills issue that some people are encountering

It has been a while since I wanted to remove an acidfier. I have it showing up twice, identical enteries in my operations list. I have plenty of medicine. Pawn has medical 13, but still says I don't have enough materials. I have 12 herbal medicine and 14 medicine. Does this mod need an update?

For some reason, despite having plenty of every type of medicine available, I still can't do the surgery saying I lack the materials. No idea why.

I love the fact that once I found out you can't remove these things I was saying to myself almost the exact words the author used for the description :p

That is not a conflict, that is a configuration issue with pharmacist itself. I have experienced the same issue myself using Pharmacist, and it is not specific to this mod. Pharmacist is forbidding the medicine you need from being used. Personally, I don't recommend using Pharmacist, as useful as it can be, it has some quirkiness, even with vanilla.

I'm having a weird bug with this mod where it says that the materials aren't available even though I have enough medicine. I downloaded your mod from github and did some testing. Removing the medical filter got rid of the problem. I'm not entirely sure why, but I think it may be some kind of conflict with the Pharmacist mod.

He just got done with his third surgery, but the doctors' are saying that things are much better. They did have to do a partial amputation, but dad's a trooper. He's more annoyed than anything.
