Easy Extra Apparel Layers
This mod makes worn apparel render in acending order of the apparels last ApparelLayerDef's drawOrder.
Higher order layers will be drawn above/ontop of lower ordered layers.

Now supports rendering over Shell
any ApparelLayerDef with Shell in the name will be rendered as a Shell layer, using the DrawOrder.

Now supports rendering over Overhead - Currently NOT working in 1.3 when Humanoid Alien Races is loaded
any ApparelLayerDef with Overhead in the name will be rendered as an Overhead layer, using the DrawOrder.

This is a Modders Resource, NO CONTENT is included in this mod, other than several Apparel layer defs, and a commented out example apparel thingdef.

Note that while i havent seen it in testing, it is possible, due to the way rims pawn rendering works that you may experience flickering or clipping when a pawn is wearing Alot of apparel because the way this mod works is reducing the space between the layers being drawn

Currently Incompatible with:
Combat Extended (transpilers conflicting, causing no apparel to be rendered)

I was just looking to have a mod to allow me to wear capes with Marine Armor & allow reasonable doubling up of some mod items like a Ranged shield belt & Ammo bag or Marine Armor + shoulder plates + cape as I use RPG style inventory bur stuff in clearly seperated slots share the same slot or layer if that makes any sense & my Royals are a Royal pain in the arse without their capes even in prestige armors for some reason.

still tinkering, but having spent a bit more time looking through the changes (since ive done alot messing with apparel rendering in other mods), im not sure if its Really nessecary anymore....its hard to say, i dont really get How the rendering controls position/layer in 1.5

guess its time for a ground up remake of the mod for 1.5 sadly cause I LOVE this mod & its sucks when devs do crap that really mucks with the good mods

im afraid a 1.5 version of this mod is looking Extremely unlikely, just no way to do it with the changes to pawnrendering in 1.5

What an impressive mod. Shame about the 1.5 unlikely for a long time, but I might pick this up for a 1.4 playthrough. Was always annoyed I had to choose between very expensive armor or low protection clothing for royal pawns.

unlikely for a long time, the pawn rendering systems been totally overhauled in 1.5, so a total rewrite is required, if its even possible to do, it may be beyond me
