Perfect timing - I just had some time and have updated it for NSC3 frigates specifically. Enjoy.

This is not a complete NSC compability - there are sections I haven't covered, because I'm unsure how to do this without them showing up in non-NSC games, other than making a whole new mod of course. So it was never even "NSC2", actually.

Will this be updated for NSC3 by chance or stay NSC2??

Yes. You probably also have seen, that NSC3 frigattes have two sections instead of one. That's the cause.

After some testing I found out that NSC3 causes them to not have the extra slots as when running with NSC2 they do have the extra slots

Like I wrote below, it's totally NSC 3 issue, as vanilla frigates are just corvettes with extra steps, while NSC 3 frigates are more like destroyers. I'll put making NSC 3 compatible version of SSEAS in my modding backlog, so don't expect it anytime soon.

Looks like its just frigates and yes I do use NSC and it use to work just fine, I wonder if something changed between NSC2 and NSC3.

Just frigates or corvettes and destroyers as well?

I have some weird issue which makes my published version not work at all while my local version works (they seem to be the same though?). If your version is also completely broken and SSEAS sections don't show up for any ship size, I'll try some tricks to follow up on that lead.

If you use NSC 3+ however, it's using completely different set of ship sections, in which frigates are separated into bow and stern, while my frigate section is, following vanilla, classified as mid section, so it's obviously not compatible. I'm inclined to make NSC 3-compatible version anyway, though it may or may not end up being a separate mod.
