Blaster Royale: Rewrite

Because of personal reasons, the gamemode is discontinued and I leave it as it is right now. It should be still playable, since I tested it a while ago and everything was fine.

Warning! This gamemode, as many others, may potentially trigger seizures for people with epilepsy.

Since the gamemode spawns a lot of weapons on the map, it may be really really laggy. We prefer playing on 64bit version of the game, and playing on maps with fog. Playing the gamemode with your friends is much more enjoyable.

If it is lagging too much, you can try changing the "brr_itemfrequency" ConVar to spawn less objects on the map.

Blaster Royale Rewrite is a brand new Last Man Standing gamemode heavily inspired by a huge amount of works involving this genre.

BRR is suppossed to be new funny Battle Royale gamemode, but with some major differences. Firstly, there's no such thing as Safe Zone, that appeared in every Battle Royale since I was playing the genre. BRR has scans, that shows position of every player on the map in the same time. I also was wondering about the drop sequence on the start of the round, so I have found the most dumb way to spawn in the midair - the crate. And of course, It ends while only one last person is standing alive. But, If you are now thinking, that those last players won't fight each other, then you're wrong. When there is a few players left, then the Spectators spawn as the Hunter. Their goal is to kill one of them, so the second could win.

• Challanges - When done, they grant you a Reward. Pretty simple.
  
• Radiation Zone - Appears after every scan on the last scanned position of the random player.
  
• Artifact - A magical floating box that will grant you something good, or something bad.
  
• Duo mode - If server has it enabled, then you can play with your friend in the same team! You can also mark weapons, positions, enemies if you have "undo" bind to some key.
  
• Modding support for messing around with the gamemode.
  
• A tool dedicated entire for configuring maps.

Supported maps are available in the separate collection. Every map has their own pros and cons. The best working maps that work with this gamemode, in our opinion are:

• gm_marsh [Fog] /Not laggy, fully playable, quickly loads into the game.
  
• Zaton Remastered [Fog ] /Not laggy, fully playable, long loading. - Map used on video
  
• Bremergard Forest [Fog] /Rarly laggy, fully playable - Map used on screenshots
  
• gm_fork /Optimized in gamemode, playable

Weapons in BRR can be changed via a simple ConVar (brr_weaponset). Here is the list, that I already made compatible with the base gamemode.

Special Weapons/Gadgets models were made with Swep Construction Kit

• Grappling Hook's line is not visible to other players
  
• Random pieces of the Workstation sometimes appear on 0,0,0 coordinates.
  
• Some of the text in the game is English when using a different language. (This is not a bug, more like it's not done for translation yet)

This is actually my really first published, working gamemode. I really appriciate, if you report bugs you found while playing, it will the make development much easier. Also, this gamemode is pretty old actually, I started working on it about 1 year ago, and without help from my friend, it would probably stay on my disk. Huge thanks to him!
