Description
Advanced AutoResolve for TOB Modders 2020 edition
1) The Defensive button gives only the player the advantage in autoresolve battles of all situations without weakening AI vs AI battles in any way.
2) The "protective" resolve button no longer a retreat with loss button. It actually gives a 75% boost over the old Defend button.
The retreat rate is still high so causualties will be low.
3) Most autoresolve issues of Vanilla have been fixed and you will receive a result akin to a decent player if you autoresolve with aggressive/middle.
4) The AI does not realize that you have this special ability and will not hesitate to attack when they think they are at an advantage.
5) Narrows the randomness window to under 2%. What you see in the bar is what you'll get unless you use the cheat.
6) Compatible with any mod, even auto-resolver mods.

When to use the Defense button?
When the outcome is clearly unfair with the other buttons or you modding.
The protective button still keeps its excellent other features:
--Favors missiles, siege and spears (when cav are present)
--The losses are spread evenly across your army
--The losses are about 65% of aggressive resolve due to both sides retreating early
See discussion.

Observations
The benefit varies from 1% to 90%.
If the match is even, the benefit is about 70%.
If you outnumber your opponent, the benefit is exaggerated vs Vanilla.
If you have lower numbers, you will not receive the full benefit. It is not helpful in last stands.

Many improvements in normal autoresolve
The AI advantage has been removed in most situations.
Missiles slightly weaker and Cav slightly stronger in AutoResolve results.
Without the mod, missile troops are unfairly weighted.
Cities and Settlements buffed about 15%
Much more. See discussion to be posted later.

I have recorded 68 tests in 3 different battle types in Attila. The weakness of the mod is that choosing defensive with a melee and cav army vs a town or a high-missile percent army will lead to massive losses. With this mod, the results are 90% better for defensive. Defensive is better honestly when you're in a place the benefits defense and have the ranged troops. Cities, bridges, forts. This mod makes it unnecessary to fight most of those battles. Until I create a mod that supports both offense and defense, I would fight your battles against armies with defensive advantage.
Furthermore, the mod is unique in that the changes only benefit the human player so don't worry about overpowered ai towns.

this shit doesnt work the only thing it does work is that garrisoned troops (city or villiage) seem to have a slightly higher advantage which is great. However out of around 18 or so tests only 2 defensive clicks were victorious which is insane especially when some of my stacks were greater than the enemies stacks lol. Not sure how to proceed but I'll continue trying it for a few days.

That isn't my specialty yet. When you find a mod that does this, let me know.

Can you put a limit on the occupation of regions for factions? It could be 10. I would like a different gameplay.

Well when I first installed it the game crashed on startup so I disabled it went into the game started a new game saved it then went back and enabled your mob, this time the game started ok. So no idea what the exact problem was, some people have said the launcher is a bit temperamental so who knows, but anyway its working and thanks for trying it out again...

I just tested this again for you on a different campaign. It does not crash.
