Minimal Tweaks for Longer Battles

Description
This mod, without range changes, is included in Shogun 2 Enhanced. Its fully included in Shogun 2 Enhanced - Units Module.

This mods seeks to increase battle length and introduce some balance tweaks while changing the least as possible, both to ensure nothing gets broken in te process and maintain compatibility - no unit stats are changed. Bow units in general, however, are slightly nerfed so they're not the killing machines they used to be, be warned.

Changes:
All units move %15 slower, all bow units have ~15% less range to compensate.
Engagements should last longer without making any changes to how armor or defense works. Flanking is very slightly more effective, while attacks from rear are slightly less effective. It's really hard to measure their effect, but I'd say engagements last at least %10 longer. See the comments for explanation.
Units start charging at a closer distance
Arrows spread slightly rather than acting like homing missiles, extreme and long range attacks are less effective
All missile units do slightly less damage, are more affected from heavy weather conditions, while light conditions has slightly less impact
Units fighting to death are not penalized and units attacking them do not receive bonuses. Like, read some Sun Tzu mate, come on.
Archers on walls gain slightly larger bonuses
Units are more likely to fall off when climbing and climbing speed is reduced
Tower reload rate is slightly increased, damage slightly decreased
Ships are %50 less likely to caught fire in rain
Blinding grenades do not have minimum range
Fire by rank reload rate is increased to make it useful, while matchlock units have a small chance to misfire

Changes to bow ranges are possibly the most drastic change made here, I considered uploading a version without it, but honestly you can just get Volcano's Longer Land Battles Mod, it's pretty good. Our mods have very similar aims, but use different methods. Also I haven't made any changes to morale or fatigue (yet).

It's very unlikely to break anything and any changes it makes can be reverted (even during a campaign). I'll take it out of WIP after I finished a test campaign.

Yeah, but that would affect the balance, like a lot. I'm a bit hazy with details but armor is basically ranged defense while defense lowers the chance of getting hit in melee combat. The trouble is there isn't a parity between them, like you can't increase each by one to keep the balance, they scale differently and TW never made their combat functions known.

Would the battles increase if u boost def and armor? tbh I don't really know j, I'm ust asking,I haven't played the game in a long time.
