Equality Matrilineal Fix (Now Obsolete with Patch 1.2)

Description
So with the recent 1.1 patch, Paradox fixed matrilineal marriages for female dominated and preferred faiths, however they conveniently left out the equal part of marriage for equality doctrines. Apparently "equal" does not actually mean equal for Paradox.

This mod fixes that, Now with equality doctrines, the ai will marry off their heirs and themselves according to the succession. Matrilineal marriages for female heirs and rulers and vice versa for male heirs and rulers. This should (hopefully) prevent the suicidal tendencies of the ai to destroy their dynasty legacy with equality doctrined faiths.

Ai might still patri marry sometimes, but should be extremely rare if they are a ruler, this usually happens when the husband is too high of a rank or provide some kind of ridiculous benefit, or maybe the ai is just feeling a little submissive (I don't really know what is going on in your brain Matilda).

Updated: Now female LANDED rulers in male dominated faiths should matri marry. Their offsprings however should not, irregardless of succession line. There might still be some edge cases out there but just a turn a blind eye to those.

Strange that you have Elizabeth on here. She never married, lol.

Got it! Yeah, your mod was surely a MUST have!
Thanks again!

The options pdx have given are also pretty extensive and are all achievement compatible. This mod had a good run for a few months.

yes, mod is now pretty obsolete with the patch 1.2. The default setting for matrilineal marriages is exactly like the one used in this mod. Except ai will still marry patrilineally for male dominated religions if they are low ranked. An extremely minor difference.

So, have you figured out if we still need this or it's 100% obsolete? In any case we thank you for this fix!
Cheers?

Gotcha, let us know in this thread if it still needs some tweaking or if the patch will do enough of a good job to not let all female rulers extinguish their own dynasties haha.

it is required for now, but the patch on tues will make this slightly obsolete. Slightly since, the setting has certain customizations but might not end up being similar as this one.

Is the mod still required, or has PDX changed it in any of the patches?

still gonna like/subscribe though, thank you for your service

Starts ok but becomes broke after a while. Later on couples are not getting married, they are on permanent 'betrothed'.
