TT Tilt Rotor Control Module

Description
This is the TT Tilt Rotor Control Module. It's intended to make building a Tiltrotor digustingly simple, and to make the tilt rotor very easy to control.

For a demo of this module in a vehicle download this:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2252885948

Follow the instructions in the images for wiring it up. it must face the direction it spawns in - DO NOT rotate this module.

All rotors on your craft must have the big arrow pointing FORWARDS when in the hovering position.

Your vehicle can either have upright or forward rotors - if you use forward, use the ingame select tool and change the input block for the tilt lever control to "0 = forward" mode.

the top block of this module has sliders to control the influence the rotors have over pitch and yaw when in the full forward flight position. Reduce for stability, and increase if you need more influence - for example, if you can't hold alt, increase the pitch slider!

the lower block has configuration options - loads of them. I'd recommend not messing with this and just vary your seat sliders to adjust behavior.

If you can when you post your creations up using this drop a link back here, so people know where to get it for their creations! pop a link in the comments to yours too if you like, I'd love to see what you make.

@:<3 elevator is for connecting to a horizontal control surface at the back of your aircraft to provide extra control at speed.

@Ozruul one of it's components is a helicopter controller that I've also uploaded separately. But they were made for before the game had rotor torque effects so I'm not sure how well it'll work now. For a dual rotor design like this is intended for if the rotors turn opposite directions it won't matter as they cancel out. For setup there's a demo vehicle with this in the description but you can also look at my helicopter controllers as those have a setup guide and it should be equally applicable.

what is the elevator for?

also, does it work with a helicopter?

can you provide a setup/installation guide?

Kypuppy if you mean 4 engines as in two rows of tilting rotors this wasn't designed with that application in mind and you'd need to be very very careful about getting balance absolutely perfect, or mix the collective and pitch channels for collective on front and rear rotors. It's also possible you just have the rotors backwards, so the pitch input is in reverse flipping the vehicle over.

Im using this on a 4 engine 'plane', when i go to foward mode it just flips all over the place!

i tried it all but to no avail. I even checked the tilt sensor but i guess i found a way around it eventually

No problem figured just worth checking as that has been the problem before. Try putting the altimeter as far forward as you can get away with, or some of the suggestions in the description.

if i reverse it then it flips the opposite way, it works fine if i fly it without the controller

Last user with a similar issue they had the elevator upside down. Turn your elevators around or use an inverter gate on the signal up to the elevator. See how you get on with that!
