This mod is abandoned and will no longer be updated. You can still use it, if you want to.

Use this mod to integrate these weapons into the campaign instead: [WOTC] Iridar's Five Tier Weapon Overhaul - Vanilla Balance

This mod configures the ghost templates added by the [WOTC][WIP] Laser and Coil Variants - WSR Ghost Templates mod to integrate the new weapons into your campaign alongside other Laser and Coil weapons.

LIST OF NEW WEAPONS
  • Laser Autopistol - Heater
  • Laser Vektor Rifle - Crimson Lance
  • Laser Bullpup - Kal-33 Bullpup
  • Laser Spark Autocannon - Spitfire Pulsecannon (requires Shen's Last Gift)
  • Laser Spark Heavy Cannon - RS-9 Redace Superlaser (requires SPARK Arsenal)
  • Laser Sawed Off Shotgun - Blazer (requires LW2 Secondary Weapons

CONFIGURATION

This mod is configurable through the configuration file found here:
..\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\2258710300\Config\XComGameData_WeaponData.ini

REQUIREMENTS

[WOTC][WIP] Laser and Coil Variants - WSR Ghost Templates is required.

This mod is intended to work alongside these mods:However, they are not a hard requirement, and you can potentially reconfigure the mod to behave in any way you wish, such as making the new weapons single buildable. You can find configuration instructions in the ReadMe.txt file of this mod.

I have used a few assets from Tactical Legacy Pack DLC. The weapons may not work properly if you don't have it.

Does not require a new campaign.

I've released a Five Tier Weapon Overhaul that does a much better job of integrating my new weapons into the game. Please use that mod instead of this one.

I cant wait for the rest of the weapons to get its laser look and the coil looks, ive been waiting for years for this and his work is amazing!

It's an overcomplicated mod that fails to deliver. Just a personal opinion. If it works for you then power to you, but I will not spend 2 seconds of my time on compatibility with it.

Yes, though those original mods are not well balanced.

thanks, that helps me a lot

:( on the Weapon Tier Overhaul, but in a way that also helps me since it makes it easy to decide which Laser/Coil mod to use. If I may ask what makes it bad? I trust your judgement but I'm just curious. I suppose your new weapons are default balanced to fit with the default balance of the Laser/Coil weapon mods listed above? Sorry for throwing a lot of questions at you.

Yes, same as with any other mod-added weapon.

If I use this mod with RPGO will the new weapons inherit the changes RPGO makes to weapons (shotgun damage falloff, weapon-tied abilities and tweaks and such) or will I have to edit them to add that stuff? Also if I use 'Weapon Tier Overhaul for War of the Chosen (Add Coil and Lasers anywhere)' will they be unlocked with the weapons tech from that mod?

So for some reason, the heater weapon from this pack can't be equipped anyone. Other weapons work, but not that one, I can see it in the lists when built, just no one can use it, even if they can use regular auto pistols.
