I've released a Five Tier Weapon Overhaul that does a much better job of integrating my new weapons into the game. Please use that mod instead of this one.

It's an overcomplicated mod that fails to deliver. Just a personal opinion. If it works for you then power to you, but I will not spend 2 seconds of my time on compatibility with it.

Yes, same as with any other mod-added weapon.

You have to configure the new laser weapons to appear alongside other laser weapons. I don't know how LWOTC does it, I cannot help you.

As complicated as any other porting process. Easy if you know what to do, impossible if you don't.

I also do have a question; how difficult/complicated is the process to import weapons/effects from XCOM1? I am asking because the Shiv mod out there was kinda left unfinished, with both tier 2 and tier 3 weapons still using Shiv's conventional gatling gun.
You don't need this ".. - Integrated" mod if you just want to do cosmetic replacement.
Subscribe to the mods mentioned in the REQUIREMENTS section of the description.
Unrelated question, and I'm kind of worried I'm wasting your time on this page with small talk, but what would your "dream game" be? It can be anything, it doesn't have to be niche or too big. I've actually asked this question on a couple of forum threads and gotten some good answers, but I really want to know what someone who actually does modelling and coding answers with.
You can reconfigure the weapons from this mod to appear as cosmetic variants to your existing equipment, though there will be only one tier of them.

I appreciate the thought, but it seems to me there are already enough "rescue resistance missions" in the gmae. There's one where you rescue a VIP from a Lost city with an unconscious escort near a car with a machinegun turret, and one where you rescue a VIP with two escorts somewhere on the map. Not to mention Haven Retalliation missions, which also exist in two different forms.
I really want these to be added to Long War of the Chosen as I think they'll help quite a bit.
Also, I actually read your Patreon page, and I have an idea you might like if you make that expanded resistance mod concept: resistance rescue missions. The basic idea is that some resistance group has attempted their own mission, or ADVENT is hunting them down or ADVENT has ambushed them, and you have to save them. But because there's only so much room on the VTOL so you can only send in one or two soldiers. Presumably you have to save a minimum number of them.
This mod is not affiliated with OvA, though I have no objections to it being used there.
Well yeah, I did load in the avenger, but the bullpup is nowhere to be seen, I even bought the other two laser weapons to test-The others are in fact equipped on the respective units and are visible in the loadout.
My code should hand that, in theory, assuming you load a save on the Avenger.
Way ahead of you in that one, already did that. Is it because I already built the upgrade (before the fix) and now it is ignoring the change?
It really should be working now, try unsubscribing and resubscribing to the mod.
Still can't see them in the loadout, nor equip them on Skrimishers.

All weapons are potentially on the table, if enough patrons request them.
I'm working with someone on that, but it's not a project I'm interested in doing myself.
Since pretty much all the Coilgun and Laser mods have been abandoned and are pre TLP. You might have to make your own to avoid bugs.
I don't know, somebody will have to test.
