I've released a Five Tier Weapon Overhaul that does a much better job of integrating my new weapons into the game. Please use that mod instead of this one.

It's an overcomplicated mod that fails to deliver. Just a personal opinion. If it works for you then power to you, but I will not spend 2 seconds of my time on compatibility with it.

Yes, though those original mods are not well balanced.

:( on the Weapon Tier Overhaul, but in a way that also helps me since it makes it easy to decide which Laser/Coil mod to use. If I may ask what makes it bad? I trust your judgement but I'm just curious. I suppose your new weapons are default balanced to fit with the default balance of the Laser/Coil weapon mods listed above? Sorry for throwing a lot of questions at you.

Yes, same as with any other mod-added weapon.

If I use this mod with RPGO will the new weapons inherit the changes RPGO makes to weapons (shotgun damage falloff, weapon-tied abilities and tweaks and such) or will I have to edit them to add that stuff? Also if I use 'Weapon Tier Overhaul for War of the Chosen (Add Coil and Lasers anywhere)' will they be unlocked with the weapons tech from that mod?

So for some reason, the heater weapon from this pack can't be equipped anyone. Other weapons work, but not that one, I can see it in the lists when built, just no one can use it, even if they can use regular auto pistols.

You have to configure the new laser weapons to appear alongside other laser weapons. I don't know how LWOTC does it, I cannot help you.

This mod also works with the other coil/laser add-on mod for those wondering. Just make sure you edit that mod's weapon stats follow properly as by default lasers in that mod are before mag weapons instead of being after them. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1275622993

I also do have a question; how difficult/complicated is the process to import weapons/effects from XCOM1? I am asking because the Shiv mod out there was kinda left unfinished, with both tier 2 and tier 3 weapons still using Shiv's conventional gatling gun.

Oh okay, I kinda haven't played the game in a long while.

Unrelated question, and I'm kind of worried I'm wasting your time on this page with small talk, but what would your "dream game" be? It can be anything, it doesn't have to be niche or too big. I've actually asked this question on a couple of forum threads and gotten some good answers, but I really want to know what someone who actually does modelling and coding answers with.

You can reconfigure the weapons from this mod to appear as cosmetic variants to your existing equipment, though there will be only one tier of them.

I appreciate the thought, but it seems to me there are already enough "rescue resistance missions" in the gmae. There's one where you rescue a VIP from a Lost city with an unconscious escort near a car with a machinegun turret, and one where you rescue a VIP with two escorts somewhere on the map. Not to mention Haven Retalliation missions, which also exist in two different forms.

I really want these to be added to Long War of the Chosen as I think they'll help quite a bit.

Also, I actually read your Patreon page, and I have an idea you might like if you make that expanded resistance mod concept: resistance rescue missions. The basic idea is that some resistance group has attempted their own mission, or ADVENT is hunting them down or ADVENT has ambushed them, and you have to save them. But because there's only so much room on the VTOL so you can only send in one or two soldiers. Presumably you have to save a minimum number of them.

Well yeah, I did load in the avenger, but the bullpup is nowhere to be seen, I even bought the other two laser weapons to test-The others are in fact equipped on the respective units and are visible in the loadout.

Since pretty much all the Coilgun and Laser mods have been abandoned and are pre TLP. You might have to make your own to avoid bugs.
