Description
Software Inc + is a mega addon for Software Inc. Play around with many new software and hardware types!


Now updated for A11.7 (The hardware update)





This mod increases the variety in the types of software you can produce. Full details below:


New Hardware:
  • Server - You know, those big things used for networking.


New Software:
  • Drive Manager - Manage all your computer drives to keep them fast.
  • Emulator - Emulate a game system such as the Appldos DS3 or the EggBox One
  • File Compressor - Compress that file until it's under a kilobyte!
  • Game Editor - Create interactive art.
  • Streaming Service - Its Notflex but better!
  • Video Editor - Easily make videos using a video editor!
  • VPN - Mask your IP and watch location restricted content
  • Web Browser - Surf the web like a pro.


Updated Software:
  • 2D Editor - Program that allows you to handle 2-dimensional arrays of colour information
  • 3D Editor - Points in space, basically.
  • Antivirus - Protecting computers from digital troublemakers since it became profitable to do so.
  • Game - Interactive art.

Hi Matt! since software inc has new beta version 1.12, are you going to update this mod to the newer version?

the servers need too be fixed cant make them

I started a new game, without this mod, and chose a different mod that has hardware as well... managed to get the software and hardware factory production working, on first attempt.

Sounds like it might be a bug with modded hardware in-game, I'll try to reproduce this for you.

Dismantled and rebuilt the whole thing a few times, tried several things... always got the message that there wasn't any compatible assembly lines, even though it was showing (green) the proper number of component printers, assemblers, etc... and the manufacturing process flow lines were all green. This was for the "Hosting Server" hardware blueprint stuff (part of this mod).

I ended up scrapping the whole thing, and just making Console OS and hardware, which worked immediately the first try.

You have to select everything in the assembly line and then add it via the manufacturing window iirc.

I have built manufacturing for Server (Hosting) hardware, all things connected and green... yet I get a message saying that I have no compatible assembly lines available to start processing.
