Description
Gugong & Panjun

I have leveraged CykaMon's excellent mod and added a bunch of useful scripting to ease game play!

Scripting Features include:

Setup:
* selects start player,
* distributes starting cards to seated players,
* fills all travel token locations,
* fills all card action locations,
* sets correct Intrigue token order,
* supports adding in Bonus Travel TIles,
* supports adding in "Expert" action cards
* allows for picking and choosing the 4 Panjun expansions: Summer Palace, Peasant Revolt, Stairs to the Palace, Extra stuff.

Action Card Play:
* Just drop the card on to the card you are taking/swapping. That card will automatically be moved to your player board, and the card you dropped will be highlighted in your color, a light will shine on that area, and a message will be broadcast to all players informing what gifts were swapped, by what player, at which location.

Phases:
* Start Player: This will move the First Player Token to the player that had the Next Start Player Medal, assign them as first in the turn order, and return the Medal to the Intrigue track.

* Refill Travel: This will place new Travel tokens on any travel spot that is empty. If out of tokens, it will automatically reload from the Discard area.

* Check Destiny: This will move all of the gathered gift cards into the player hands, sort them in ascending order, and report on everyone's number of Destiny Die matches.

* Travel: When the Travel token is placed on to a Travel tile, that tile will be moved to near the top of the player's board.

Game Keys (under Options)
* Ping Player who's turn it is - Does what it says!

China, 1570. China is under the reign of the Longqing Emperor, of the Ming Dynasty. He inherited a country in disarray after years of mismanagement and corruption. He resided in the Forbidden city, which was the seat of many emperors under the Ming Dynasty. Constructed from 1406 to 1420, the complex consists of 980 buildings and covers 72 ha (over 180 acres). It is also under the Ming Dynasty that the Great Wall of China was rebuilt, fortified, and expanded. Around this period, China was under heavy attack from the Mongols, so maintaining the Great Wall was essential. Most of what we now have left of the Great Wall, we owe to the Ming dynasty.

The country was already famous for its very intricate bureaucracy, but this also led to a lot of corruption. Even though the penalties for corruption were very high, the highest Officials of the Forbidden City would pretend to uphold the ban on corruption, by accepting gifts of petitioners, and returning one of seemingly lower value.

Gùgōng uses this extraordinary custom as its basis. Players take on the role of powerful Chinese families trying to gain influence and power by exchanging gifts with Officials. The gift cards you offer as a player have to be of a higher value than the one you receive, forcing you to make strategic choices regarding which actions you want to take each turn. You will travel around China, sail down the Grand Canal, purchase precious jade, help construct the Great Wall, secure advantages through decrees, influence the game through intrigue, and ultimately, receive an audience with the emperor. If only 1 player succeeds in doing so, he wins. If several players succeed, the player with the most VPs among those players wins the game.

Thank you!

Solo Automa deck added.
There is no scripting support so after you choose your color, Right Click on the Setup to do everything manually.

That's really kind of you, thank you. Excited to try the game but don't have anyone I can try it with really. Thanks a lot.

I will import the automa cards but am unlikely to code setup for solo so you will have to do that manually.

This mod is really great. Are the solo cards in there at all? I can't seem to find them but I might just be missing them.

Thanks for the mod.

Ah... I see. Sorry. I was reading the rulebook and it shows one side 1-3 & other 4-5. Missed the shading.

Oedin, the main board is is a combo 1-3 and 4-5 player board. You will notice the canal has two halves and the right half has a 4/5 shading on the spots. This lets you know to not use it in a 1-3 player game.

Thanks for this. I was wondering how to get to the 1-3 player board? Is there a state for it?

After a couple of plays I see where some enhancements can help but the core scripting is solid. We had numerous times where people erroneously dealt cards out from their discard pile so I need to figure out how to disable that :-P
