District Style: Medieval Town

Medieval City

Description
A town betwixt the Dark Ages and the Renaissance; a mix of half-timber & straw buildings with plaster shells and thatched roofs and newer buildings in stone with tile roofs.

The middle or medieval age saw the birth of some of the greatest cities; from humble farming or timber harvesting hamlet to trading center, to mighty seat of earls, dukes, or, perhaps, a king!

Don't forget to subscribe to the Collection Medieval City for all of the assets.

Perfect for use with my District Style: Medieval Village. Also good for use with the Timeless Villages Collection ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2448130109 ) and 3 District Styles. That Collection contains many of the same assets, but differs with the Medieval Collection in that it has very few or no high density buildings in each Style, as it is meant for small villages while the Medieval Collection is meant for a larger city and contains many low and high density assets.

I do not know. I was only able to choose from what was on the workshop at the time. unfortunately the Update button is entirely missing in the game (for District Styles) and the dev / Steam have not fixed this issue for 2.5 years, so no District Styles can be updated.

Great hi-dense residential and commercial. Are there lvl 2 and up low-density assets?

Thanks! It is in the description above: the Village style is for smaller, more primitive settlements.

Love these assets! Question: What is the difference in "Medieval Village" and "Medieval Town?" Thanks!!

But with this Style the buildings are very small, like 1x2 or 1x3 or maybe 2x2 in some cases. Very few are larger than that, so if you just paint a whole area with zoning the tiny assets probably will not spawn - the game prefers to spawn 4x4 assets whenever it can, and without any (or very few) in this Style your game will not spawn growables if you just paint an area. Instead, paint small 1x2 or 1x3 or 2x2 sizes, isolated, then after an asset spawns you can paint the blank space next to it, if you want, to make another small asset spawn.

When your city reaches the third Milestone you will unlock the ability to paint a district. It is on the UI bar at the bottom of the screen, near the left side, and looks like a gray polygon. Click that, paint your district area on the ground, then click the white text that shows on your map -- this opens the District Overlay where you can see stats on the District as well as rename it. At the bottom of this overlay window is the District Style drop-down. Click that and select the Style you want to apply to the District.

Where do I change the district style? I can't seem to find the button in my city
