The cabin takes inspiration from nature with white, silver and dark grey colours representing rain clouds. The interior design features warm ligts with classic wood floor and elegant modern stairs. Really love this ship, it's very well designed. I was wondering what bases you use on the second and third screenshot?

Do you have any lighting mods or anything, the first and third screenshots look so pristine

I 100% agree with the outside look and the screens are awesome you are right. Also why I could never just replace with a seat. Thats seriously awesome if you created the 615 in survival. I also usually play solo but I would like to think others could join. I will have to try the mining arm! There are so many people focused on ship building and make some awesome things but I still always have that 615 and will do one of these 617s. Just started a new game again just for that 617 hah. Thanks again!

So those are my personal preferences, I made the ships for myself in the first place and I am very happy there are other people who appreciate them as much as I do. There is definitely a lot of room for people to adjust them however they like and I encourage doing so!

Just a couple things I want to add: 617 is so narrow to be more compact than 615 which, because of its rear section, required longer ramps and more space if you want to dock a few of them next to each other. You can kinda see what I mean on the 4th picture. Another thing is that I have unfortunately in my 2k hours basically 0 experience with playing with friends and therefore I don't really make them for more than 2 people. I have no idea what obstacles that brings to overcome when designing a ship.

Again, feedback is very much appreciated, be it positive or negative, I don't mind negative whatsoever. I'll keep it in mind when I get the chance to make another one!

Honestly when I completed 615 in my survival (always solo and pretty much vanilla, no research tree) I lost a lot of motivation to continue in that save because it was simply an incredible ship which made so much of the gameplay very easy. For example a simple drill arm on the bottom mounting point replaced my miner. I like the idea of having multiple vehicles for different tasks. Still the main idea behind the 600 ships it so be very useful and comfortable for transport but quite limiting in other ways such as production of materials or combat. I think I made them too good for myself :D

I took inspiration for the cockpit in modern day airliners such as the Boeing 737. I really love how it looks on the outside and the way it is separated from the cabin. So that's why visibility up and down is fairly limited.

The main reason for the cockpit inside cockpit method is, just like in the 737, I can set up many LCD screens with scrips to keep track of things while improving protection.

The 112A is a decent ship too but your 600s are really exceptionally put together. When I tried to scale up the 615 it seemed to lose the balance and honestly I put it aside after many hours. I think I have build the 615 by hand 3 times now. Its the first thing I build once I can do nuclear power. Mostly just want you to know I appreciate the work that went into these designs as someone who has really torn into them and flown them hard in survival.

TLDR: you are awesome and I would love to see this kind of balance on a ship one size larger (the do all type survival/economy production and sales) or one step down in tech (first ship to leave planet).

Its very smart and safer for pvp but I play solo usually in which case it is not as aesthetic as an open cockpit. (seat type).
I like that you leave room for some personal changes too. I would like to see about adjusting this ship for a 2-3 person (cryo/bed) set up and I was attempting to scale up the 615 at one point but couldn't get it right. Absolutely zero hate for your 600s but it would be cool to see your design on something 1 block larger in each side and maybe up and down if needed, opening up more internal engine room or more room for things like large refiners and the big hydro thrust (if needed for interplanetary).

Thank you, I appreciate the feedback! What do you not like about the cockpit area?
