This mod adds The Old Man (SCP-106) from the collaborative writing project known as the SCP Wiki.

Features:
  • Sounds/music taken from SCP: Unity and SCP: Containment Breach.

  • SCP-106 is capable of teleporting, either randomly or towards someone he has recently attacked. Be sure you can kill him fast or he'll heal back to full!

  • SCP-106 can drag his victims into the Pocket Dimension if they are at low enough health.

  • SCP-106 leaves behind a trail of corrosive acid wherever he walks. This slows you down and damages you slightly should you walk through it, so be careful where you step.

  • SCP-106 can shoot a wave of corrosion towards the nearest target, damaging and slowing them.

  • 30 seconds after someone is dragged into the pocket dimension, a horribly mangled corpse will fall out of a portal near the spot they died.

  • SCP-106 will eventually leave your crew alone if you outlast him long enough.

The music of SCP-106 was made by Corvus B.

the old man works way better now, performance-wise. i'd consider this one of my best mods, in all honesty

i'll see if i can optimize this some more, if you all find that performance is still a big issue. i've reduced many of the particles, and added intervals to many of the constantly-active effects

fixed several critical bugs because i needed a change of scenery, so to speak. withering souls development is fun, but i'm a lil burnt out on it.
scp-106 now properly hunts targets by teleporting through the PD to ambush them and will completely leave the area after taking someone. he cannot be killed by normal means, and i've improved performance significantly i hope. femur breaker also "sends" people to the PD now when 106 is 'recontained' by it, and stops the currently active hunt

that's a job for future me, i'm focusing on my big project right now and i'm not gonna let any other mod distract me from it until i finish what i want to get completed

Amazing. I played it and it's scary enough. But it causes my fps to drop severely. I think perhaps you should check your coding methods.

yeah, the rust splotch item despawns all instances of scp-106 and spawns a new one wherever it is. this is fine because there is only one scp-106

SCP-106 used to actually chase people around by 'teleporting' like that. if you were attacked by him, the chase music would constantly play and he would periodically appear nearby you with priority to attack you (i think)
if you move fast he teleports more frequently

teleportation has proper vfx and even an entry/exit portal texture that fades out quickly, scp-106 even had a ranged attack and could obliterate people as though he dragged them into the pocket dimension, once again with proper vfx. 30 seconds later a decomposed corpse would spawn nearby, implied to be the last victim
