DESCRIPTION:

Inspired by the soviet attack submarine Щука-Б (engl: Pike-B) NATO callsign Akula. It's main purpose is to sink other ships and thus designed primarily for PvP combat. Although it should fare well in PvE and campaign, too.

To activate silent running the captain must press the button left of the navterminal. Switching off is the same. All outer lights will go out, the reactor will be shut down and the engine output will be reduced to a noise free power level. You can operate in that mode as long as you have power in the silent running supporting batteries.

To fire a torpedo you need to follow those steps:

- Captain must press the button 'Captain's clearance' at the navterminal -> red light is on
- Check if the torpedo loaders above the torpedo control room are loaded
- activate the switch for the torpedo tube you'd like to fire in the torpedo control room -> white light is on and the orange light at the persicope too
- use the periscope to fire

To fire a naval mine just load it into the depth charge loader.
