Eggon's Multihit Long Weapons

Description
This mod was created when katana, crowbar and golf club were not multihit. Since then they have been made multihit. Number of zeds that can be hit was increased for them from 1 to 3 - which seems excessive for crowbar and golf club. This mod sets crowbars and golf clubs to up 2 simultaneous hits, so it still balances these items.
_______________________________________________________________
Have you ever wondered why some long weapons can hit only one zombie at a time, while some short ones can hit multiple? Wonder no more, just install this mod and you're golden. Make your Crowbars, Katanas and Golf Clubs multihit weapons.

In order for the multihit feature to get applied you have to have the "multihit" option turned on in your Sandbox settings in the first place. Obviously.
Existing saves
Mod will not change already spawned items. In order to update your existing weapons right click on them and choose "Refresh [weapon name]". When you are done with updating and want to get rid of the options appearing in the context menu delete the "EMHLW_refreshMultihit.txt" file from the mod folder. Unfortunatelly it will reappear when there's update to the mod, so you will have to remove it again. Hopefully there will not be many updates.

@meneze.lage2 It's Sandbox+

@meneze.lage2 Thanks mate. I think there is a mod that introduces (among many other functionalities) multihit depending on skill level. Unfortunatelly I don't remember the name, because I never used it, but someone mentioned it in comments to some of my mods. It might be tricky to find, as this is just one of many of its functionalities. Maybe ask a question in PZ Discussions, someone should know it, it was rather popular.

Heya, Eggon. Do you think it'd be possible to make a skill based multi-hit mod? Unlocking 2 hits on level 5, 3 hits on level 8, or something of the sort? Love your stuff, thanks!

got it old bug fixer mod lol
Eggon  [author] 3 Apr, 2022 @ 9:08am
@Torkkar Yes. This mod is simply old and a bit deprecated. In the past not all weapons were multihit even after enabling that option.

ah... guys you do know there's an option available to enable all melee weapons & strikes to hit all zombies in range right?

Weeell they'd still need to update the mod and might be busy... my hope is that they'll let someone else take over at least. And also that they're doing ok in their private life, ofc.

I didn't see any mod doing something like that - would be a great place to start, at the very least!

@ICaRus If they didn't go silent, there would be no need to do this. ;) But it's not a problem, I can look into the code anyway. I also saw in the past a mod that did something similar, but don't remember what it was.
