Goodbye House, hello Tower!

Shortly after Phil's House was raided Ricky went out of his way to find a new place to continue the business. He bought a few lots and told Phil about the new real-estate. A few weeks later, and with tons of money to help expedite the process, Phil's Tower was complete. 10 whole floors ready for Phil's extravagant business adventure.

Phil, not happy with the package being constantly stolen, decided to upload the data into his new security terminals. With the terminals being so heavy, there's no way they can steal the data, right?

A few months of searching later and the Intruders found his Tower. They'll pull up in the van, like always, and prepare for the climb. Marty disabled the security clearance needed to open the elevator doors on the lower floors, but was unsuccessful with the higher floors. This should make it easier to start your ascend.

Map Description/Features
  • A medium sized map with a tall building in the center.
  • A dark, moonlit night. Great for Intruders, bad for the Guards.
  • Asymmetric starting loadouts. There are more items in designated spots.
  • Multiple security cameras to keep an eye on each floor.
  • 10 different floors with a staircase and elevator shaft for navigation.
  • The higher the floor, the easier it is to hack the terminals.
  • Elevator doors that can only be opened from the inside and can never be closed.
    • Everyone can use the White Keypads (Inside Elevator Shaft Floors 2-6)
    • Only Guards can use the Red keypads. (Inside Elevator Shaft Floors 7-Roof)

Cool People

Took me about 25 days to make this, and after making this massive tower, I've learned a lot.
Don't make towers. Take my advice.

Note: Share the item pickups with your team if you'd like to win. Nobody likes raiding/defending without the proper equipment.

Note: Elevators are really hard to make within the Map Maker. I can't add one until the developer of the game makes it easier.

Note: This map uses Post Processing effects. These can be toggled off inside the option menu if your frame rate is suffering.

Most likely, but I don't have a lot of time to work on my own maps. Busy with official content these days. I'll get around to putting an elevator on Tower eventually, and remastering this map like I've done with my first two.

@Mattbatt56 I've seen a tool in Intruder mapmaker resources (https://github.com/GrowingTurtle/Intruder-Custom-Elevator) that helps to create custom elevators. Can it possibly help you in adding elevator to this beautiful map?

@gothghost Thanks. I have plans to remaster this map a tiny bit but all of my map maker free time is going into official content. I agree that too much action is on Floor 2.

I like that you can shoot out the cameras. i think a little too much action ends up happening at floor 2, but other than that I think this is my favorite out of your maps. gas being a very close second.

@Mattbatt56 Yes, the cameras have been consistently breaking for the past few months on every round. I can recall when me and my friends first started playing, one of the very first custom maps we played was this map and the camera feed was indeed live like it was before.

@snowy I just checked again and couldn't replicate the cameras freezing. I had an animated cube move back and forth in front of one of the cameras and it was always updating.

Someone else DM'd me after seeing your comment and also claimed the cameras were frozen at some point.

Do you have any more details on this? Are the cameras frozen every time you play? Was it only a one time occurrence? Last time I touched this camera setup almost 2 years ago so I'm not really sure why it would be breaking now.
