Description

Please do not reupload this without my Permission.

This aircraft features a HFC, or High Fidelity Cockpit, which is a cockpit setup that tries to imitate the real life counterpart cockpit in reality. It does not simulate every single aspect of the real life counterpart, but as a standard for Stormworks it holds up.

*If the canopy wont open, disable infinite electricity.
*To silence master warning buzzer, hold the button in for 0.5 seconds
*If Heading hold autopilot dosent work, make sure GPS and MAGnetic align is aligned (from the RIO seat)
Bear in mind, this creation is old, and was made before the weapons DLC, so certain items might be broken

Hello!

This is the J-F\A-19, a real life inspired fighter-attack aircraft of the Grumman F-14B Tomcat with swept wings. Yes, its wings sweep backwards.
Now i emphasise inspired because I have taken a lot of creative freedom in many aspects of the fuselage to make it actually flyable, which I hope you’ll notice fits very nicely in the whole grand scheme.
It is not fast, top speed about 283 knots with afterburners, but this is because this aircraft has 6 sub-grids which include the main sweep wings, rudder and elevons, however that does not stop the fun in flying this, believe me.

The cockpit is a High Fidelity Cockpit, with all the bells and whistles, and I hope that you who like a few more buttons to press, switches to flip and gauges to read would like this edition of my HFC-line of Aircrafts. It was super-fun to make it. It is also super-easy to operate, as the startup and shutdown part is fairly simple, so you’ll be able to get up in the air in under a minute.
The Pilot and RIO will have different tasks, however both seats can pilot the aircraft if needed be. Originally i implemented it because i had to be able to maintain control when testing RIO systems, for example weapons system.

The weapon system, unlike its real life counterpart the F-14, does not allow the pilot to control weapons. Only the RIO can operate, designate and deploy weapons. Reason for this is i simply do not have space in the front cockpit to install a weapons console. Even if i did, the pilot workload to designate a target, select weapons pylon, transmit target data to pylon and deploy while steering the aircraft is simply just too much, especially in Stormworks.

APG-4 AESA Radar: This whole aircraft actually would not have been possible without the APG-4A AESA Radar system, made by Jim Halbert(Maniir). It is made for fighter aircrafts, and has the possibility to find, lock and transmit its coordinates with altitude, through composite to a pylon with a compatible A2A\A2G missile with that option. However, no such missile, meaning A2A, nor A2G missile has been made or released onto the workshop yet so that remains an untested feature on this aircraft.
The operation of the APG-4 AESA Radar system is in the weapons manual linked down below in the F\A-19 Flight Manual, as well as a link to the workshop-item itself.

Camera Stabilized Manager: Camera Stabilized Manager, or as i like to call it the TGC (Targeting Camera) made by MethAtron is a system which allows you to spot a ground target, lock it, and transmit those coordinates with altitude, through composite, to a selected pylon with a compatible A2G missile with that option, however, as stated above, no missile for this purpose has been made or released yet onto the workshop, so this too remains an untested feature. The TGC manual is linked below in the F\A-19 Flight Manual, as well as a link to the workshop item.

I hope you will enjoy flying this as much as i enjoyed creating it, and i hope you have lots of fun at it as well.

Cheers!

try making n f-35 - f-22 hybrid, so basicly an advanced tactical long range combat jet that also has the ability to do vtol, vectoring thrust, dogfights, and shoot something from 40km away.
