Council With A Chance of Resistance Ops

Description
Instead of frontloading the campaign with 3 Resistance Ops and then switching to Council Ops, randomizes whether a particular Op should be Resistance or Council.

This means you get less bonus soldiers early on, so it can make early game harder. If you feel getting more chances of ranked up soldiers later on is unbalanced, I've included an option to make the additional soldiers from Lost Expedition/Rescue Survivors always be rookies.
If you are also using Allies Unknown, and the Res Op comes from the faction introduced by that mod, the bonus soldiers will be Alien ones instead of regular soldiers.

As the primary goal is to spice up early game, I've also added a couple config options to unshackle the first Res Op from always giving a scientist and never being Swarm Defense. The first Council mission will still be a scientist, because altering Council Mission spawning is beyond the scope of this mod.

Ignores the base game's limitation to the maximum number of Res Ops.
Will only affect missions spawned after adding it to the game. Missions already on the hologlobe will be unaffected.


Works by replacing the Resistance Op Mission Source's SpawnMissionsFn, so it will be incompatible with other mods that do so. can't think of any atm tho.
This also means that it will only apply to missions spawned by the Res Op Mission Source. Missions spawned by the Council Op Source won't be converted to Res Ops.

Are you going to fix the issue with the Chosen Spawning? I am unsubbing untill it is fixed. I do love your mod though, i restart alot because i mod my game like crazy, so it is nice to not have to be forced to play the same misisons over and over every time i restart.

Heya, so there's a bit of a problem with this mod. Turns out the Chosen are scripted to spawn on the next mission after the first Resistance Operation. I currently have Plated Armour and am working on Mag Weapons and haven't had a Resistance Operation yet, they've all been Council missions. Hence, I haven't had the Chosen spawn. Just thought you should know, I doubt this was intended haha!

If I change ResOpChance = 33 to 55 the game should favor Resistance Ops over Council Ops, correct?

This ignores the limit for the number of Res Ops. So there's no need for More Resistance Ops, but it won't cause any problems if it happens to be in your modlist.
