Introduction

Cowabunga dudes! Welcome to another quick guide designed to help you get the most fun out of Last Resort Island as possible. Since Rokaplay already created a guide on how to beat certain levels I am not going to cover that information. However, I have a few simple tricks and tips I'd like to pass on to you.

Remember this guide may have some "spoilers", because the idea is to help you where you might be stuck, so consider yourself warned! :P

******* Potential Spoilers Below *******

General Tricks and Tips
It appears that Last Resort Island is a continuation (sort of) of Zombie Solitaire - Chapter 3, given you arrive on the island via an old ship, which is how chapter 3 ended. I could be wrong though.

First tip: There is an achievement and "trophy", which grants you some coins, for hoarding $15,000 coins so wait until you reach that to build upgrades. I do not think waiting to spend coins impacts game play any, but if you have to build something to move forward do so sparingly.

Second tip: In previous games you could repeat a level where you discovered a stickler and continue to receive stickers until you had them all. That does not appear to be the case in Last Resort Island, so you will need to play varying levels to find the stickers.

Third Tip: Once you find a sticker do not forget to go to the Quest screen and click on that quest. I am not 100% positive, but it seems like you will not get the next sticker until you acknowledge the one you found.

Forth Tip: Power-ups, such as bombs, lightning bolts, and rockets do not count as a move when you use them, so if you are right on the edge of losing the first of the three stars, try activating all the power ups and see what happens. If that does not win the level, then you just restart the level.

Fifth tip: I think it is mentioned in the help, but the bow can shoot left to right or right to left. Just position the bow at the right edge of a row until it flips directions. Useful when a crate is protected on the left edge.

Sixth Tip: The "damage sequence" on the right bottom is random, so if you get a difficult sequence, just restart the level.

Seventh Tip: For solitaire levels, you can only keep a single wildcard for each number. If you have a 6 wildcard on the playing field, and you have a 6 wildcard in your reserve, then you should use the 6 in your hand before grabbing the 6 wildcard from the playing field.

Hide-N-Seek
Two Achievements require you to find a hidden object, sort of. Clowny the clownfish is hidden in plain sight, but in the credits. Click the Info button under the Options.

The hidden zombie is on the main screen under a tree.

Each will net you a Steam achievement and a "trophy", so don't forget to collect your coins!

While you are on the main screen, you can type "rokaplay" to trigger another achievement and "trophy" for a few more coins.

Aw, Shoot!
Level 25 is the first level that the bow power up is available. There are 2 relatively easy to obtain bows on this level. The level layout is not the greatest for creating the rocket power ups and then positioning them into a row, but I managed to do it on my first try.

You may want to try a different level, but at least you know where the bow levels start.

Been There, Done That!
Given I have already provided a ton of tricks and tips for both the Match-3 and Solitaire game play in my previous guides for Zombie Solitaire 2 - Chapter 1 and Zombie Solitaire 2 Chapter 2, I will not repeat it here. Please refer to those guides for some helpful information and silly zombie puns.

One important tip is to learn the cards so that you can readily identify the underlying card(s) by the partial image so you can make the correct choices as you extend your combos.
Someone Had to Say It!
OK, if you have read any of my guides you know I'm a fan of lame jokes and silly puns. Many of the worst offenders are my own personal creations. What can I say... I think stupid is funny. Here are a couple of my made up zombie jokes. They are so bad you can't help but laugh... maybe more at me than the actual joke.

Q: What was written on the zombie's tombstone?
A: Rest in Pieces

Q: Why did the zombie visit the psychiatrist?
A: He really felt like he was falling apart!

Q: Where do zombie's go to meet women?
A: A Butcher Shop - it's a real meat market.

Q: Why did the zombie think the mean dog was only joking with him?
A: The dog kept pulling his leg!

Q: How can you tell a zombie has been in your bathroom?
A: You find their Head N Shoulders in the shower.

Q: Why was the zombie surgeon always hungry after easy surgeries?
A: They were all no-brainers!

Q: What did the zombie give his new bride for their wedding?
A: His hand

Q: Why did the zombie get fired from his job as a black jack dealer?
A: He could only shuffle!

Q: Why did the one zombie brother get in trouble more than the other?
A; Because he would mind less

Q: Why was the zombie a good night watchman?
A; He always kept his eye out for trouble!

Q: Why did the zombie take antidepressants?
A: He was always in a grave mood!

Yes, I went there...but I heard you groan at that one joke.

@Taskmaster, Thank you! Should have read your guide more carefully,
I thought that section only dealt with the zombie and clownfish.
Will be a perfect game for me now thanks to you.

Please read the "Hide and Seek section in the guide. It mentions that there. Just type it on the keyboard. You will not see what you are typing, but the game will track it. Have a great time!

Hi Taskmaster, I could use your help with the chievo "type the devs name".
Rokaplay or Thomas? Type it where?
Thank you in advance and have a nice weekend!
