Description

Sword I made for a 3d modeling class. Thought it would fit well into Skyrim.

Made with Maya and Substance Painter.

Can be obtained through crafting, needs Arcane Smithing and Daedric Smithing perks. Uses Nettlbane in the crafting recipe, 'cause why make your own quest tree when you can piggyback off someone elses :)

This is my first attempt at modding, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. In particular, the weapon takes a long time to load when equipping, either in the inventory or in the world with hotkeys. The texture is 2048x2048 and the polycount I think is around 6000? That doesn't seem like it should be to demanding to me but if anyone has a better understanding of skyrim meshes/textures please let me know :)

you might mention the stamina drain up front in the mod description

Very nice model. Takes forever to load though. Maybe I need to get a ram cap breaking mod of some such because having it on or on a follower or in a display case or weapon rack means where ever it is it'll take longer to load when you go through load screens and have to reload this slow ass sword. Like almost gave up on it the first time kind of longer. So I put it in a chest and plan to try to figure out a means to get it loading faster before I use it.
