Realistic-ish Thrust Updated

Description
Original mod by Digi at https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=575893643

Update to https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1642187317

This mod lets you scale between Space Engineer vanilla behavior (All thrusts are applied to a grid's center of mass) and Digi's Realistic Thrusters (thrust is applied at the thruster position). This is intended to ease the learning curve for designing ships with realistic thrusters, or to make sure that vanilla autopilots and NPC ships can still operate properly.

The default setting is halfway between vanilla thrusters and realistic thrusters; a configuration file (ConfigData.xml) will be created under Storage, which will allow you to adjust this setting. 0.0 is vanilla, 0.5 is default, and 1.0 is realistic.

With the default setting of 0.5, vanilla AI ships can fly correctly, and scripts like Vector Thrust will operate correctly.

You can also set a distance (default 1 meter) below which thrust will be applied as in vanilla. It's mostly intended to make it easier to use small drones or TLB style helicopters.

The mod will create an ini file, just edit it to change these two values.

Hello, your mod is great, thanks for your work! I don't want to play the game without this mod anymore! But, I also use the physics mod with Aerodynamics. And I have a question: your engines have a realistic effect on the structure, but the blocks in the aerodynamic mode that create lift still affect the center of mass, and Because of this, an airplane, for example, can fly with one wing torn off and not experience any problems with stability.Could you make a patch for the aerodynamic mod so that it uses physics like in your mod? That would be amazing!

I've got some troubles with the CLOSE_ENOUGH. Setting 30 doesn't allow thrust within 30 meters of the projected planes to act on the CoM. It still generates torque. Will test some more.

Can confirm, config file doesn't seem to be generating on world save.

If the thruster is closer than CLOSE_ENOUGH to the center of mass, just use center of mass. Bit of a fudge factor for things like drones that manually control thrusters.

hey! can you describe the CLOSE_ENOUGH variable?
Please and thanks.
