Battle Cannon and Turrets (HullTec Fix)

This is like the 500th "fixed" version of this mod on the workshop but I was tired of all those "fixed" versions that are still bugged or out of date so I made my own version that I will use for my personal fleet.

What I've done so far:
- Big Bertha is now shooting and reloading again
- Little David is now shooting and reloading again
- changed Little David's ammo type from projectile to missile. It's now the same weapon type as the BigBertha but with lower stats.

What I am planning:
- test the remaining weapons
- fix bugged weapons if there should be any left
- give the weapon pack a slight retexture (I can't redo the whole texture or make it compatible with the new armor skins, but I can add some more "surface" to the texture so it looks less plain)
- rebalance the weapons for my personal need.

I never said there was an issue with them, I just said they carried over to the weaponcore version of the mod from the original version. You said,

What I said was that from my experience, you likely wouldn't have to change the weapons, because logically they would carry over.

Thanks for the feedback. I will try to fix the sound too in a few days. Have to finish some other projects first :-)

@Erebus I didn't do any changes on the vulcans, yet, so if they are bugged in the original version, they will be in my version, too. Will fix this within the next week, I guess.

been using this weapons pack for a week now and finally got to trying out the big bertha. BB works and shoots but doesnt have any firing sound.

apart from that thanks for bringing back a solid weapons pack! :)

i downloaded a world with the original battle cannons mod on it, and then swapped out the battle cannons mod for the weaponcore variant, and the original vulcans remained...

Atlas is the only Weapon Core weapon, I used so far so I don't know much about that weapon core framework.

I have always been using the original "battlecannon and turrets" on all my ships since the mod came out. And I don't want do change the weapons on all of them now. It would take me days if not weeks because I would have to edit all LCD2 screens, too. xD

So the easiest solution for me is to repair/edit the original mod because the weapons stay on my ships when I exchange the old version with my version.

Sadly, the texture is very hard to edit on some parts but I'm still on it.

It can absolutely be made to use weaponcore without any model changes

No this mod is not weapon core and would require the original blender files from the original authors to make it so ( If I understand things correctly )
