Description
Annoyed at recruiting an older leader and getting nothing in return? Not anymore!
With this mod any leader at or above the age of 45 in the leader pool gets either an additional level (90% of the time) or an additional trait (10% of the time).

Since lithoids start at an older age range and live longer their cutoff age is 70+ .

Robots and hive minds already get the benefit of really young leaders so they get nothing.

Makes no overwrites so should be compatible with any mod. Though any mods that add traits or civics or whatever that modify leader starting ages might have soft incompatibilities with this mod.

Would it be possible to increase the leader pool and add a reroll button for maybe a cost of some sort if you think a just free reroll is too much cheatcraft.

An interesting idea.
(although I would have preferred a mod that gives you a chance to get an extra trait every 5-10 years. So that you end up with 5-8 traits.)

For other's peace of mind, I can confirm it's not this mod. Also, thanks for the suggestion to delete that file, since doing so cleans out leftover mod bits and seems to have improved my load times for testing.

Best I can think of is that your launcher is bugged and loading the mod regardless of what you choose. You can reset your launcher by deleting or renaming this file "C:\Users\ {YOUR USERNAME} \Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\launcher-v2.sqlite". But if you do this you will have to re create your playsets, so make sure you note down your mod order if thats important to you.

Howdy, I've got a problem I think is related to this mod (And possibly a conflict), despite uninstalling the mod and then deleting and reverifying files, I have leaders spawning at level 2 still.
I've also got leaders spawning and filling the pool without traits, but I think that's probably a conflict.

Do you have any idea what I can do to remove the mod's edits other than a full reinstall?

This looks really clever.

If they're over 55, could they get a chance to start with both level 2 and a bonus trait? (Over 90 for Lithoids.)

I like this idea. Could use some little tweak like the others have suggested, but great job overall
