Would it be possible to increase the leader pool and add a reroll button for maybe a cost of some sort if you think a just free reroll is too much cheatcraft.

An interesting idea.
(although I would have preferred a mod that gives you a chance to get an extra trait every 5-10 years. So that you end up with 5-8 traits.)

For other's peace of mind, I can confirm it's not this mod. Also, thanks for the suggestion to delete that file, since doing so cleans out leftover mod bits and seems to have improved my load times for testing.

Best I can think of is that your launcher is bugged and loading the mod regardless of what you choose. You can reset your launcher by deleting or renaming this file "C:\Users\ {YOUR USERNAME} \Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\launcher-v2.sqlite". But if you do this you will have to re create your playsets, so make sure you note down your mod order if thats important to you.

Howdy, I've got a problem I think is related to this mod (And possibly a conflict), despite uninstalling the mod and then deleting and reverifying files, I have leaders spawning at level 2 still.
I've also got leaders spawning and filling the pool without traits, but I think that's probably a conflict.

Do you have any idea what I can do to remove the mod's edits other than a full reinstall?

This looks really clever.

If they're over 55, could they get a chance to start with both level 2 and a bonus trait? (Over 90 for Lithoids.)

you could also make the chance for additional traits or lvls dependant on the average lifespan.
divide current age by max. age and use that factor for calculating additional lvls. So it might still be viable for late game, when the average lifespan of leaders can be greatly increased

That's an interesting balance of risk/reward in the early game, though in late game when most leaders are level 7+ it loses a bit of value. A suggestion I might offer is mid- to late game society tech that makes all leaders spawn higher level, as if you're researching better schooling techniques. Either way I'll definitely use this during my next play through, good work.
