Description
A practical anchor that:
= locks onto the seafloor
= can have spares swapped in
= can be handled by the character
= can be secured by ropes

This mk 2 Thin is a more minimalist arrangement. It looks like a block which will be easier to store on small craft and move replacements around.

For the original see:

It has a more anchor like appearance and more likely pointing

You should be able to mix-match mk1 and mk2 on the same ship. The mk2 thin are good at being that one more anchor just in case

Links for my anchors:

Practical Mk 1 and 2 are on the workship with associated parts already hooked up as a source to copy-paste from. Those being the microcontroller, instrument panel and a toggle button.

Meant to be used with my anchor microcontroller, a 4 gauge instrument panel and a separate toggle button for the maglock. Composite data is
1: indicator for maglock connected
2: button up to winch up/in
3: dial for winch length (20 for medium, 100 for large)
4: button down for winch down/out

Practical ones focus on game function over appearance for best game play performance.
Appearance ones are designed to look like real anchors while still working as best they can.

Practical Anchor Mk 1 Standard
Very reliable in making contact on uneven sea floors with its quirky shape that still can be moved through doors and up 1 to 1 ramps.

Practical Anchor Mk 2 Thin
Thinner smaller shape for use on smaller craft or as spare anchors you might not ever need

Appearance Anchor Mk 3 Pretty
Shaped to look more like a real anchor, which may affect its ability to get contact in Steamworks. We don’t have real muddy sea bottoms in game so the side spades may cause unwanted tilts on what is in essentially solid rock

Practical Anchor Mk 4 Shaft
A narrow one block tube design for easy storage and for uses with lifting cranes. Remember to target the mag all for handheld carrying.

Practical Anchor Mk 6 Heavy
The heavy anchor and lifter with 6 mag locks, hence the mk 6 designation. This is the largest size that was deemed safe to swim with. Awkwardly still goes through sliding doors used as horizontal deck hatches.
