Description
Nailz debuted in the WWF in 1992, attacking The Big Boss Man and choking his former prison guard with his own night stick.

Nailz feuded briefly with Boss Man, culminating in Boss Man defeating Nailz in a nightstick match at Survivor Series.

After losing to Boss Man, Nailz took on several of the WWF's top stars, coming up short each time.

Nailz was released in late 1992 after allegedly assaulting Vince McMahon during a financial dispute.

This edit uses 60 points and has two attires, moves, and logic.

Ahhh Nailz... To me, nothing marks that flux era between Rock n Wrestling (AKA Hulkamania) and the New Gen than the Nailz/Bossman feud.

As trashy as his feud against Big Boss Man was, i think it was one of the best there at this era.

There’s certainly some randomness involved, but it’s not hard to make a 200 point edit lose to a 50 point edit with some logic changes

Nice, I'll keep doing your style then.
There was this one time, however, that i was testing 2 wrestlers just to see the CPU logic working etc...
One was this 160 points dude, the other one had 65 points, basically a jobber.

The thing is, the jobber somehow won, lol.
I gave him a finishing move that had an A compatibility with his style, maybe that was it? I was legit surprised.

It's far from perfect, and it's not like I test every indy wrestler against someone like Roman or Lesnar, but ideally, WWE main eventers should regularly beat indy guys. Looking at it the other way, if Roman went to an indy fed, he'd still be booked as an absolute force, so rating him in that top class is justified no matter where he works.

For wrestlers who tend to work longer matches but aren't supposed to win all the time, skewing towards higher defense than offense can lead to longer matches, often with higher ratings.

That's pretty much what I use, and for the lower card wrestlers, I tend to reduce them even more on the defensive side along with anything in the skills section that could prolong matches. That way, bigger stars should be able to wear them down quicker, even if there's some back and forth early on. With higher offense than defense, lower card matches end quicker than if two main eventers take each other on.

With modern wrestlers, I try to handicap by assuming that one of the big promotions signed them. If WWE or AEW had someone on their roster, where would that wrestler fall on the card? Some bigger stars in smaller promotions could easily fall into that lower card range, and then I build from there when considering low and midcard wrestlers in those companies.

What do you think? Any tips on how to make jobbers act more like jobbers? (I tend to use your jobber moves on mine so they lose spirit and stamina faster) and main eventers be more like main eventers?

By the way, Avenger. Whenever I have the time, I'm building my own roster for my own universe mode here, and i'm trying to use more or less your style of point distribuition. Of course, I know that abilities, ranks, point distribuition and other stats depends a lot on what the wrestler will be. I just wanted some tips to distribute those points, because that's how I see them:

Wrestler with 10 - 50 points: ultra jobber with no chance of fighting back, managers as well
Wrestlers with 60 - 90 points: jobber, but can fight back
Wrestlers with 100 - 120 points: usually lower card wrestlers, but can be low-midcard as well
Wrestlers with 120 - 150 points: midccard wrestlers overall
Wrestlers with 160 - 180 points: upper midcard to main event wrestlers
Wrestlers with 180 - 210: main event wrestlers
Wrestlers with 210 - 250: absolute main event wrestlers and top tier/top of the food chain talent/

He could beat jobbers with ease, but I don’t think he ever actually beat anyone of consequence. Either way, the jobber moves I have just accelerate getting him to low spirit - he can still win and does alright for himself.

Oh snap, i didn't know Nailz was a jobber. I thought he was a legit heel, etc...
