Twilight | modular engine

Description
Twilight is the sister of our last car Crépuscule. Born from the same need for performance as Crépuscule and raised with a need for excellence Twilight is the accomplishment of hours of hard work and outpaces her sister. All the development put in Crépuscule has propelled Twilight to the top.
Both cars are built one the same wheelbase but Twilight benefit from a more powerful 6 cylinder engine and more advanced technologies for better steering, braking and handling.

Most of the testings of Twilight were done on the StatusRing making her a perfect car for racing and having fun on the track.

Currently the best time recorded around the track (STATUSRing) is 1:12:533 but were are convinced that the car (and the driver too ^^) is capable of doing better !

Fun facts about the car :
  • except the two intakes used for the mirrors, all intakes are functional
  • Twilight and Crépuscule are the same word, but Crépuscule is french
  • The car is equipped with a differential, but not active by default. Is you activate it the car will be more likely to drift
  • The car is very compact so the only place i found for the fuel hose is inside the habitat

Most of the microcontrollers are made by MarcusAurele

The only part of the car that is not purely mine is one of the microcontrollers powering the modular engine. The version I use is modified by myself to fit my needs and the version I've worked from is no longer available.
Still, here is an ECU you could use (by the author of the ECU I worked from):

oh ok

OK, good news is that you are no longer stuck at 68 km/h
Have you build up RPS in neutral before starting ?
To have a 0 to 100 in 2.9s RPS need to be built up before engaging first gear
If you don't you have a much slower 0 to 100

very strange, did you reach the rps limit ? ( the blue bar of the HUD full )
Are you using a controller ? if yes are you sure you're going full throttle ?
Are your trim set to 0 ( press alt to check ) ?

first gear only went up to like 20
MarcusAurele  [author] 29 Dec, 2021 @ 5:13am
well, No issue on my side
Maybe the 0 to 100 km/h is not as fast as it was but i have not tested it
But still a top speed of 220 km/h

I don't know how you get 68 km/h of top speed since the first gear allows you to go over 150 km/h and the ECU seems to work fine

hmm
Strange, i'm going to check that out
