Description
Welcome to Canalistan, proud member of the Broman Empire!

This map features two canals. A ship path runs through one of them. The other one is meant to be reserved for ferries, but of course you can lay a ship path through it as well (you would need Bloody Penguin's mods 'More Network Stuff' and 'Ship Path Anarchy' for that).

I highly recommend using the 81 tiles mod, because otherwise the water in the canals will be visible only in the tiles you already own. The rest will be covered by the grass texture (as seen on the screenshot of the start square). The map should be playable without it, but it just doesn't look good.

When I load the map without the Loading Screen Mod I get an error message concerning a pillar of the Surface Roads but as far as I can tell this makes no difference and can be ignored. I recommend using the Loading Screen Mod anyway.

There are two minor unsolved issues with the canals:

a - The ships do a little hop up when they enter the canal and back down when they leave it. I haven't found a way to solve this yet, but I will try some more and update the map if successful.

b - Although I tried to place the ship path exactly in the middle of the canal the big vanilla cruise ships clip a little through the canal walls in the bends. Therefore I recommend using suitable ships from the workshop (you can replace vanilla ships with ships from the workshop with the 'Advanced Vehicle Options' mod).

Screenshots taken with 'Brom's European Theme' which is included in the One-Click-Collection above and the Vanilla European LUT.

The laws of the Broman Empire strictly prohibit drowning trees as well as trees on roads, so if you find any, please report to the authorities.

Special thanks go to the creators of the featured assets, BonBonB and the amazing members of his Discord Channel.

Hey jeffvanbraam!
Really nice to hear you like it.
With the 'environment changer' mod you can select a different biome and your favorite map theme before loading the map. And the 'Theme Mixer 2' mod lets you change the theme in game.

That's great, thank you for your kind words. Would you mind sharing a few screenshots of your city? I'd love to see what it looks like.

This is one of the best (if not THE best) maps I have ever had the pleasure of playing on. Everything works great and I really enjoyed playing on it and I REALLY enjoyed the pre-made port area. Thank you for uploading this.

That's strange and kind of embarassing... Thanks for the hint, Sir! (Sorry, I had to do that)
I've fixed it and updated the map.

I'm seeing the road dipping under the ground in two spots in the start square roundabout.

Here is an album with screenshots.
