Quick Sell

Description

This mod requires Norbyte's Script Extender. Get it >>>HERE<<<[github.com].

Sell items directly from your inventory and containers while anywhere in the world with the Quick Sell menu option!

Right click an item and select Quick Sell, or use keybinds to sell while hovering over the item. The default for KBM is Left Shift + Q, and the default for controller is Back. Items sold via Quick Sell fetch the same price as if you sold them to an NPC with 0 Attitude. The party's highest Barter will increase the gold received.

Unique items, story-related items, and items currently placed in the world cannot be sold this way. Gold and any restricted item that is in a bag or container will be moved into your unstructured inventory before selling the container.

Items sold can be bought back from Sul'Iq in these locations:
  • Fort Joy - Next to Zaleskar.
  • Reaper's Coast - In the undertavern by the arena.
  • Nameless Isle - Next to The Watcher.
  • Arx - Next to Sanquinia Tell.

These commands can be entered into the chat box for additional functionality. You may need to enter the command in twice if you have not sent a chat message since launching the game client:
  • !QuickSell_CleanTrader
This will destroy all items in the Quick Sell merchant's inventory on the current level.
  • !QuickSell_AllowUniques
This will allow unique items to be sold via Quick Sell.
  • !QuickSell_AllowStoryItems
This will allow story items to be sold via Quick Sell. Be aware that some uniques rewarded as part of story events are also considered story items.

Keybinds for QuickSell can be adjusted in this file:
  • Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition\Osiris Data\QuickSellKeybinds.json
See the pinned topic for a list of accepted keybinds. Deleting the file and loading a campaign with QuickSell enabled will recreate the file with the default bindings.

Doesn't appear to work for me. Probably a conflict with Something

You can edit QuickSell's keybinds in this file:
Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition\Osiris Data\QuickSellKeybinds.json

Check the pinned topic for a list of keybinds. I don't use controller so I just picked one that seemed unlikely to be mapped to other functions. Apparently the choice was a little too good since some controllers don't have that button mapped :dos2skull:

I can sell using only the shortcut with KBM but I have literally no idea how to do this using the controller. "Back" makes no sense to me. I'm using Xbox One controller and I can't for the life of me figure it out and going into the Controls menu while on controller doesn't seem to allow me to remap anything whatsoever it just shows me what everything is. It's annoying. Please help.

I typed in the command and was able to sell. I didn't see a confirmation message but, selling confirmed it

That worked. Thank you

Did you check the change notes and use the command? Quick Sell won't work with uniques and story items by default still; you have to manually enable that functionality. You should see a printout in the chatbox confirming that you've turned it on/off. Let me know if you don't see the confirmation message.

It's not working on any Unique items, for me. That is new. I've been using it for a while. But, if it's working for you, it must be on my end. I've deleted the mod file and brought it back. I've moved the location. Ah well.

@kmcsjr I updated the mod to allow Quick Sell to work with uniques and story items. Check Change Notes for details.

Would you consider allowing the mod to sell everything except quest items? Since there is a way to buy things back, selling uniques isn't so dangerous. Also. I just read the notes that you did a complete rewrite. Thank you again, for the great mod

Thanks @Focus.
