Description
Sapiens: A Grand Expansion for Civilization V - Requires Core Mod
Sapiens is a full-spectrum expansion for Civilization V that transforms nearly every system in the game, without losing the essence of what makes Civ compelling. Designed as a complete gameplay experience rather than a collection of disconnected features, it reshapes how you build empires, wage wars, pursue knowledge, and shape your legacy.

Each civilization has six unique components, enhancing variety and strategic identity.
To display more than two Components use Unique Bonus Enhancements[www.picknmixmods.com].

Whether you aim to conquer the world with legendary armies, develop powerful belief systems, or elevate your people through art and innovation, Sapiens gives you the tools--and the challenge--to make every game unforgettable.

From reworked civilizations to entirely new systems like Great Thinkers, Mass Transit, and Found City-States, this mod pushes the boundaries of what Civ V can offer. Beneath the surface, dozens of original mechanics and world wonders deepen the strategic sandbox, all supported by a robust DLL overhaul for added stability and polish.

Explore a living world filled with volcanoes, chartered pioneers, religious artifacts, and legendary units like the SR-71 Blackbird and Spartan Hoplites.

@AJ.G.: You can change the mod load order for all mods you've installed. Just right click on Civ5 in your steam library --> properties --> workshop and then sort it by load order (i think its default). And then you can change the load order of each mod by drag and drop ;-)

@Mr.Dioneo: How can you change the mod load order in civ? I keep running in this issue with sapiens + YnAMP (which should be compatible) crashing. Ill start with instaling YnAMP, then core, the sapiens and it works untl I try to load / get back to menu. Then it crahses and wont ever work again until I delete all mods / clear cache.

Most bugs were fixed for me when I read the installation instructions and fixed the mod load order. The massive city state influence drop per turn is still there. I have also run into .dds loading error messages during the game. Units that trigger them that I have seen so far - Portuguese two handed swordsmen, Spanish Armadas and that world wonder ship that lets you sell treasures to city states. I'll add more as I find them.

Is there any way we could get a List of known compatible Civilization Mods with Sapiens? I've noticed that I crash anytime I want to add a new Civ, and only with Sapiens enabled does this happen.

So i have a new issue where wonders dont show, values front tiles dont add up they remain the same as the moment u founded the city, and lastly theres no way to use a specialist.

Alexsan, yeah, I have had to do that every once in awhile as well If things start seeming a little "fishy" or buggy, I'll save the game and re-load it. All of the problems usually go away.

** I saved and loaded the game and it's working again. (I'm using the Core Mod UI version)

*actually, there is no action icon at all. I can't even select do nothing/sleep for the worker

I have the problem, that workers, from begin of the game or also out of a sudden during the game, can't build anything. There is no icon showing (pasture, mine, plantation etc.

czarna_skrzynka - I actually just did that, I was thinking it may have been a download issue as well. Interesting thing is, I did get it to work after clearing cache and deleting mod files, re-installing them in order, etc. All my previous testing was done with Poland and every time I could not get the pastures to work. Tonight, after re-installing everything, I started a game with Mongolia and the problem is gone! I started another game with Poland and the problem came back, and I also noticed the workers had something like 12 grayed out build actions where Mongolia did not. I started another game with Rome and the problem is gone, and the build actions are two options after researching husbandry - pastures or roads. I hope this makes sense, I'm super tired, been troubleshooting this for quite a bit. Poland is my favorite Civ to play due to the free social policies, I hope they aren't bugged.
