Description

In the hot Kentucky summer of '93, you're telling me that not one person has an ice cold Pepsi? For that matter, when was the last time you walked into Giga-Mart and saw one, loose can of soda on the shelf? Alfrety's Additional Sodas seeks to remedy these inaccuracies by adding historically popular soft drinks drinks in 90's Kentucky, portrayed with accurate can designs and 12 pack boxes. And hey, if you've got a few dollars left over from before the fall of civilization, spend them at a vending machine for extra fresh cans of soda.

Alfrety's Available Flavors:

Royal Crown (RC) Cola
Coca-Cola
Diet Coke
Mountain Dew
Pepsi
A&W Root Beer
Ale-8-One Ginger Ale
Dr. Pepper
Fanta Grape

Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, RC Cola, Dr. Pepper, and Mountain Dew are all caffeinated sodas, and reduce fatigue when drank like Coffee or Tea. Or, if you're watching your calories, try Diet Coke, the same great taste with zero added sugar! Got an upset stomach? Well, you shouldn't have eaten that rotten food, but take it easy with a can of soothing Ginger Ale! Crack open delicious, refreshing cans of Alfrety's Additional Sodas while you can, before I get DMCA'd by Pepsi.

Hopefully this mod will be updated for Build 42, it is one of my favorite mods. Please, when possible, I would love you to update it :)

Good mod, If I can buy drinks from other mods on the vending machine it will be better. I mean it just a suggestion. anyway, thanks your work.

bug still exists in mp where vending-bought sodas disappear very shortly after dragging them into your inventory, workaround is to drag them from the machine onto the ground first but not ideal

@scandy Correct, the only thing that I change about vending machines are additive. You can still find natural loot inside of them, but now you can also use a "money" to buy a soda, if the machine has power (and any soda left, of course).

so does this mod remove the ability for vending machines to spawn loot generally or can you 'spawn' drinks with money?
