Fix Emigration Issues

I'll let everyone know if the devs ever fix this.

This mod is a fix to the broken code around how colonists emigrate from dome to dome.
Fixes:
  • Children wont move to another dome with a nusery unless there is also an apartment
  • Colonists failing or ignoring filters
  • Exclusive only buildings never occupied or homeless colonists in exclusive only buildings dome
  • Other emigration issues and wacky related stuff
  • Free space calculations issues
  • Cosmetic number reporting issues
You can shut this mod off in the native Mod Options menu section anytime dynamically and original routines will take over.

Highly Recommended Additional Fix
It is highly recommended that you team this mod up with the Fix Child Only Bldgs, even if you never build nuseries.
This mod fixes colonist with flawed traits from before the hotfixes. If you are playing a save game from then, you need this.
This mod includes fixes for when children are around. They are little pains without it and you will get weirdo colonists in your nurseries without it.

Important
If you are adding this to an already established colony, it will take from 1 to 3 sols for all the colonists to cycle through.
Larger colonies may take longer to clear up.
Average for a 100 adult colony is about 3 sols before it stabilizes.

When the developers fix this in their code, you can turn this mod off in Mod Options.

I saw the comment in bug reports that it doesn't. I'll give a try to the mod that lets you better control shuttles, maybe build some more hubs. If that doesn't work, I guess it's quarantine time lol

I have a few domes in very distant spots on the map and my colonists started dying regularly, trying to *walk* to the dome that's half the map away. Just take the shuttle! Does this mod fix that issue?

Dunno if this is a bug or just me being dumb, but colonists won't automatically move to another dome if they're homeless. Do I need apartments for colonists in general to move between domes, or is this a bug?

Hello!
I have some problems with this mod. I had it installed for some time, but now in my new game my colonists seem to ignore filters. Specifically, I have Polymer factory in the interseption of two domes' areas, and I tried to filter out engineers from one of that domes, but they returned (and they returned very quickly, like in several hours).
So I disabled this mod in mod options to look if maybe devs had fixed something (or broken something used in your mod). I could not yet reliably confirm anything, since I have that first dome overcrowded now, but when I set the mouse cursor to the "colonist statistics" zone of the dome infobar, the empty rollover meny appear, and the following error occure multiple times in the log:

@Solae, it does not. It affects domes, residences and the resource bar up top. Check your logs for any errors. It may help diagnose where the issue is.

Does your mod touch rockets at all? I started getting the old passenger rocket blank UI bug after installing this mod. I hadn't had the issue before, it goes away after disabling the mod, and nothing else that's turned on at the same time affects passenger rockets specifically (I have a skin mod for rockets - confirmed to not be the cause).
